I am visiting from out of town, looking for the best crabs with good beer in Baltimore.
    Thanks-

Difficult to say for crabs right now because local crabs aren't available this time of year. If you are near Fells Point, Max's Taphouse is the place to go for beer.

Thames Street Oyster House is right around the corner from Max's in Fells Point. They give you a list of oysters from all over to pick from.

+1 for Max's. I think everyone in Baltimore will agree with that. For MD seafood, I've always had a good experience at Riptide by the Bay. Also located in Fells close to Max's.

havent found a one stop shop for both yet.. G&M restaurant for my favorite crabcakes, Also Alewife is a good spot for beer and a great smoke burger and its close to Lexington Market where Faidley's is famous for fried crabcakes.

Max's is a required stop. Not a lot of places have both an extensive taplist and good seafood. I second Thames Street and Riptide, and I've heard good things about Lobo's and Boathouse Canton.

By slim chance if you are going to Rehoboth Beach, then I have a perfect spot, but it's hard to find both in the same location.

Lobo's is awesome. But not the best beer selections.

To clarify- I don't need an extensive taplist. A decent taplist and good seafood would be OK. Extra points for good prices.

It's been awhile since I was last at Riptide. I don't remember their draft list being anything too special, but they'll likely have some local brews on tap. Keep an eye out for Union, Heavy Seas, DC Brau and Jailbreak brewing beers. I think you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you go to Baltimore and skip out on a visit to Max's though.

How about Hull Street Blues Cafe for cakes and beers?

Go to Max's and then walk down the street and get some of the best Oysters around at Thames Street Oysters.
