Why is there so much goddamn confusion about what RS/HS growler fills are? It's right there on the online "what's on tap" board.

Just get your fix of Humulus Larger and be happy.

Yes I had a mocha Wednesday which was good but if a lot of people are saying they are not I would be hesitant to purchase more

I was just going off of what TNeedles said, I might be mistaken but it sounded like he said there was MW avaiable. If not i'll just have to get a fill of something else.

 

1000% for sure it isnt. I've never seen a RS/HS beer available for a growler. Its the same stuff everyone else gets with 2-3 extras for society members.

 

In 32oz growler news, I've had to purchase a hydro flask from amazon for the girlfriend so she won't take the Bruery branded one as awater bottle. Much like the 40oz kleen canteens from stone.

 

TNeedles was referring to the RS pours that are available in the tasting room. Which is not the same as what is available for a growler fill.

So as an RS member, you can get a pour of Mocha Wednesday or Chronology, but not a growler fill.

Correct! Sorry for the confusion.

 

The Bruery typically sends out emails each Thursday (or is it Friday?) about current & upcoming taps. They did indicate that new RS taps would be available this weekend ... so hopefully real soon we'll know if RS taps will include more than the current Mash & Grind, Oaked Old Richland and Mole Smoking Wood.

 

yeah, I was hoping for something different than these for my first use of the flask.

 

Perhaps i just need to be enlightened, but what's the difference between Bourbon Smoking Wood and Bourbon Barrel Aged Smoking Wood?

I just got the email and I don't see anything different ... they were vague saying:

Society Exclusives: Starting this Friday, Reserve and Hoarders Society members will have a couple extra options available for their 32oz growler fills here in the Tasting Room.

but when you look at the left hand column, didn't see anything different from what's on today's list

 

I just take it that those extra options won't be disclosed until Friday when they become available.
