Do you guys plan on doing another Chaos release in bottles anytime soon? What will be the next bottle release from Barley Browns?

Had it on tap at Tin Bucket in PDX the other day. It is pretty delicious. Happy i got to try it since i probably won't be able to get a bottle.

We only brew CHAOS once a year (winter), I'm sure we'll bottle it again next year. As far as next bottle release? Possibly the next batch of Don Vanuchi "The Killer" Stout, we have a batch of it hanging out in a stack of Bourbon Barrels. We'll let it chill there for another 4 - 7 months.

Not a bottle release, but kegs of TankSlapper IIIPA, HeadShake IIPA, and Forklift IIPA will be shipping out over the next few weeks.

    Beers!

    TankSlapper IIIPA?

Is that different from previous batches? I thought those were doubles?

We used to refer to it as a Double, but that was before we heard of IIIPA. It's always been a huge beer, and with our new brewery it comes out bigger.

Try it, let me know what you think.

I had some a couple weeks ago and it was phenomenal...quite as good as the first time i had it and got a growler at the brewery but nothing ever beats the first time...one of the only 3 beers i have rated a 5 on here.

I hope to see some of those kegs of Tankslapper in the Seattle area...i had to go to Baker to get it the first time and Portland the second time

Any chance of of these ending up at Caves or anywhere in Corvallis? Or is that something I should be asking them?

Can you please brew more of your breakfast stout. That stuff is insanely addictive and delicious.

I don't know the answer of course, but... the last round of tankslapper, a few kegs made their way down here to Eugene. If we're getting TS down here in Eugene, hard to imagine why a place like the Caves in Corvalis wouldn't get some, as long as they put in an order (and aren't beat out by places like 16 tons, Bier Stein and Tap and Growler down here).

Good chance. Point Blank does a good job of spreading them around.

We're doing our best to keep a supply of Breakfast Stout going all the time. Heard a rumor that it might be on all the time at Sassy's Taproom...

IMHO, they do a tremendous job distributing your beer down here in the Eugene area. I see your beers all over town, and pallet jack is nearly as easy to find around town as RPM (OK, slight exaggeration, but it really is pretty easy to find). Have also seen Forklift, Tank Slapper, breakfast stout, Disorder, wfo, shredders, and.... well... you get the point. My only disappointment was that it appears we didn't get any kegs of chaos, which I've really been wanting to try.

But hey, no complaints. Since moving to Eugene in 4/13, I've been very surprised (and very pleased) by how much barley brown stuff we get down here. Keep it coming!!!! :-)

Can't believe Sassy's didn't make the most recent America's Top 100 beer bar list.

Heads up for the hop fiends: Tank Slapper and Head Shake have arrived in town, so they should start appearing at your favorite beer bars in the near future.

Make sure some of those kegs make it to Boise!! There are growler fill stations seemingly on every corner now.... And if you make it the 16th St. Albertsons, I can walk. :grinning:
