At the present time, I have 14 different kinds of beer in my beer fridge. There are 2 or 3 that I only have a single 12 oz. bottle but I always seem to have about 10 selections with anywhere from 2 to 6 bottles or cans. I wondered if this was average or off the charts, etc. and how many kinds of beer other BAs had in their fridge. Just asking.

At any given time I keep around 12 unique beers in the fridge at all times, I am at the beer shop weekly to replenish. I like variety and choices.

Definitely below average for me. My beer fridge is completely full (guessing about 100 bottles), and then I've got about 14 boxes of beer (another 180 bottles) in the "cellar." Keep trying to get my total inventory down below 250 but dammit, they keep making new beers!

EDIT: Out of curiosity, I just counted and the above represents 125 unique beers, not including multiple vintages.

Well, I have over 60 beers in my fridge, another 45 or so in my dedicated beer fridge, and I think two cases in the closet. And that's not counting what's at my girlfriend's place.

So you're definitely not on the crazy end.

Wow some impressive numbers here - sometimes it's tough in PA to grab reasonably priced singles (duh) so I usually only have about 4 or 5 varieties. Also I don't really cellar...right now it's:

    Victory Lager
    Arcadia Loch Down
    Bells Kalamazoo Stout
    Dark Horse Sapient Trip Ale
    Bottleworks Stone 13th Anniversary

Looks like I'm a slacker as far as inventory goes.

This thread is making me think they should make a show on A&E about beer hoarding. That'd be one delicious show.

Due to limited funds, all I have is homebrew (currently an all citra apa) in the fridge. Here and there, I might add one or two bottles of a commercial release, but it'll likely be homebrew for quite a while.

I used to keep about 20 different kinds on ice. Then I discovered the 1940's Frigidaire with no temp controls makes beer so cold I can't actually taste it. So now I keep about 8 on the door of the upstairs fridge and cellar the rest.

There's a show about almost everything else, so why not.
