So Santarpio's is a bit of a trek from where you are, and you would have to cab, or take the blue line and walk about a mile to it. It is walkable from the airport and is the first place I eat when I land in Boston.

Lobster roll and fried clams at Neptune Oyster in the North End. Chowder is solid there as well.

If you want classic Boston, you'll be near the Omni Parker House. Home of Boston Cream Pie, and Parker House rolls.

South St dinner is a great breakfast place and open 24 hours.

 

So did I just get lucky or was there another release of Backwoods. The store (which is more if a meat market that also has some booze) is trying hard to be legitimate at carrying good craft beer, so Im not sure if they were saving this, or just got it.

Surprisingly i had my first Red Chair this week too. Loved it, and its a shelf beer i walk by in every beer store here.

 

Yeah Red Chair is not anything "exciting" but it's just damn well executed. I'm not really waiting for anything to drink those Bomb!s, and I'm not even sure I'm going to bother doing the "vertical"... I just have a lot of beer!
