Been enjoying Berkshire's Lost Sailor IPA lately, the maltiness is subdued a little bit when you don't pour it IMO. Other favorites/regulars for me are NBPT Green Head and Troegs Perpetual.

Super excited for Surly Abrasive but in the mean time I'll have to stick with Overrated and Furious, both extremely easy to get and super tasty.

That confused me too. No idea what "classic Chicago grade inflation" means...has the political machine now expanded to beer too?

Deviant dales comes immediately to mind, but I wanna throw river north ipa out there. Its fermented with belgian yeast, the esters play well with the hops and its easy drinking for sure. The ratings here dont give it justice.

Brew free or die is a great mention. It's 8$/6pk near me.

I actually have tried more than I remember via trades, but I wonder if they weren't fresh.
Resin, two-hearted, founders centennial to name a few. Jai Alai was really good.

Realistically, the sea hag and sculpin are remarkable IPAs
