3/4" ID stainless steel washer

    Building a mash tun and I need one stainless steel washer with an inside diameter of 3/4 inch. Looking to avoid spending $10 for this small part. Anyone have an extra they could toss my way? I'll pay you for postage plus what you paid for the washer.

    Have you tried your local hardware store? I haven't looked specifically for that size, but the selection of SS fasteners at a nearby Ace Hardware is pretty good. Lowes also has a good selection. And it's not likely to be anywhere near $10. Certainly worth a look.

    It's a PITA to find it in your local Home depot, or Lowes.

    Quick tip though, look for a set, it's about $3-5 bucks. Fender Washer kit, in SS.. Lowes has them in a plastic box with some other washers and nuts/bolts.

    First one I got, had the washers stolen from them, and replaced with some non SS smaller sized ones. Apparently someone needed the same washers.

    This guy probably has it either in silicone or 304SS.

    304 stainless is not easy to find at the hardware stores anymore. Do not use steel that is galvanized, zinc coated or anything you aren't sure is 304 stainless.

    I haven't looked at Home Depot, but they're wicked easy to find at Lowes. They have their own section in the fasteners aisle. At least that's the case at my local store.
