Cantillon reccomended cellaring on their side.
The only other ones on their sides are corked and caged, so I think the cage will hold the cork in place.... Hopefully.

Which bottles, specifically, were the corks pushed out on? What temp were you cellaring at? Thanks!

I manage a store in GA and it was in the shop. The temp is just at 71. The beers were Brother Thelonios, Duvel, Three Philo, Chimay Blue, Boon Oude Geuze Marriage Parfait and I think that was it. All of them had beer forced out of the cork but the Duvel and the Chimay Blue actually lost corks. It was all a big mistake.

Here's a pic of my somewhat modest "cellar". I'd like to think I have a few gems after a little under a year of cellaring. And by cellaring, I mean waiting to drink them. Thanks to all my great trading partners for helping me get to where I'm at today :grinning:

The jazz bass is an American made '92, the 30th annaversary reissue of the '62. Two stacked knobs control tone and volume for each pick up. Strung with flat wounds and with action so low it's like butter.
The Mustang is a 1971 competition... Little beat up from playing, but still plays and sounds great.
Cheers to you for catching the models!

Truth! I can't hold on to a bottle to save my life. I've got 4 or 5 beers that I'm trying my hardest to hold on to until at least next fall.

A couple pictures from my cellar re-organization yesterday...

Everything sorted and ready to be counted.

Brooklyn is the best represented brewery in my stash, 77 out of 271 bottles.

All these FW beers are getting impatient waiting for this year's Parabola to join them.

I gave up on taking pictures after that, but here's the final result

Awesome pics, some of the shelves are bowing in the middle so much, I'd be worried.

Just one shelf, and it is being replaced soon.

Finally got a wine fridge. The wife got sick of me taking up the kitchen fridge with beer. On sale right now for $148 at home depot. Its holding 42 bottles, 9 are 375ml. I had to cut a piece of shelving instead of using the horizontal wine racks.
