Really? I went Saturday, about an hour each way, and was told there was no more Twin. Oh Brother!

That may be true, but the when I was there, about 4 on Saturday, the lines for draft beer were well over a half hour. I wonder what could be done to move things along more quickly. The servers seemed to be working hard, so I don't think it was them. Maybe the credit card checkout proceedure? I really don't know.

it really boils down to people not having a clue of what they want. they have 3 registers setup with only 1 cash register? were both lines super long? might be time to have a separate tent for the special releases on tap as they have with the special release beers in the bottle.

I was there on Friday and I left with plenty of $ in my pocket. I had 1 pour of Union (thankfully I had a buddy with me so we split up right when we got there and he went for beer and I started in the line for the special releases). ~1 hour in that line and we then spent 30 minutes in merch line. By that time the line for draft was still 45 mins long. No way I was going to wait that long and my buddy didn't close out his tab either because he was told to do so he would have to wait in that whole line again.

Yeah everyone was super cool and the volunteers are always great so it wasn't any stress really...I don't want anyone to think I'm complaining cus it was a great time as always...just maybe pointing out an area for growth (perhaps looking at an outdoor pour station for Friday releases...especially when the weather is perfect).

i got there at 4:30 friday solo. waited in line grabbed a beer for myself and some random dude in line(to hold my spot) from stanleys in about 3 mins while waiting. immediately got in the bottles to go line and had about a 30 min wait. after that grabbed another beer at stanleys and ordered my pizza and got in the jk draft line. dude that i bought beers for ended up buying my pours of natural union and wwt. i got back in draft line and had figlet. back in draft line again and had autumnal and wwt one more time for good measure. and between it all was able to sit down and have a few slices while warming up in the barn. only possible thing they may have added to make it better would be an outdoor pour station for special release fridays, but other than that, sometimes you just have to enjoy the ride and talk to the people around you. im sure some of you waited in shittier and longer lines for awful astroworld/six flags rides at some point. sorry for the rant and shitty grammar, but it kinda sounds like you did it wrong bro. 2 pours at a time on busy days.

This is why I always bring cash. I wouldn't wanna stand in that line either just to close out.

2? At one point, I had 4 glasses in my hands, with 4 different beers. Gotta plan ahead!

I wish someone had taken a picture.

Fair points but 1)"Bro" should be an outlawed word on this site 2)I was only making a suggestion based on experience. If a customer wanted to spend more $ with a business without a means to do so I have a sneaking suspicion that business might welcome my thoughts, even if they are impractical or irrelevant. It's not like it was a bad experience, Funk n Sour wasn't either, nor Fen Tao in the rain.

I don't think you were disagreeing with me anyway, cus you make some awesome points and highlight the most important thing, having fun and meeting new people.

And one line where I just look at that tap pull at the merch table and eventually decide to not buy it, but I try to get free stickers.

JK just tweeted a link to the latest Beerist podcast. Includes WWT and Natural Union. Im about to listen to it, but was glad to see NU ranking so high(may be local homer-ism, not sure).

I've only had NU on tap so far, but thought it was fantastic. I haven't had a beer like it. Maybe my taste buds are off, but I really enjoyed the flavors. Ive been surprised by the middling BA ratings...

Anyways, with few detailed reviews on the beer, it will be nice to hear some peeps talk about these beers.

I had it from the bottle about a week ago, and I thought it was better. Seemed like the rosemary was less pronounced. I can't wait to drink a bottle with some roasted pork.

No need to get fancy and kill baby sheep. As an Arkansan, pork rules in my world. Rosemary and pork loin are BFFs.
