I'll check some more out and get back to you. There are a couple more places in California. Email Gary at Blackwells in San Francisco. I think he gets it once in a while"

Those aren't REAL prices. That shop is fleecing its customers and marking them up like 300%.

Easy. http://belgiuminabox.com/shop/ Shipping can get pricey, but if you wanna get it shipped to your doorstep, I would recommend it. I got 2 750 ml Cantillon Geuze, Cantillon Kriek, 2 Westy 12's, Fantome Hiver, and a 3F Geuze for roughly $130 shipped. Pricey, but it's what you gotta pay unless you wanna trade for it. Hoped this helped.

I got an email when they became available. They won't get any of my money at that pricing. His pricing is pretty high across the board. I did get some Drie Fonteinen for decent, if not slight elevated, prices, though.

Depends. Have any spare newborns? If not, you might need to convert to Mormonism...

Please stop spreading this ridiculous lie. Canada is a country, not a state, and distribution of alcohol varies across it. Don't get me wrong, you CAN get Cantillon in Canada; however, you'll likely only find it in Alberta and BC. Distribution and importation laws in the rest of the country make finding Cantillon completely impossible.

Just trying to nip this silly rumor in the bud. Half the threads in the Canada forum are Americans asking where to find our fabled (imaginary) enormous Cantillon stockpiles. :stuck_out_tongue:

It's a little easier in Belgium I was there in the fall. But still tought to come by some of the sought after ones unless you go to the brewery

It now flies off the shelf in Alberta and BC. There may be a few stray bottles here and there, but not like it was a few years ago.

You can generally find *something* from Cantillon easily at bars in Canada's major cities (Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary) but for on-premise only. The selection seems to rotate by shipment, and Toronto currently has Gueuze, LP Gueuze, & Rose de Gambrinus kicking around.

tl;dr: Finding Cantillon in Canada right now is a lot like it was in the US circa 2010. Not available in every state/province, and easier to find at bars than stores. Now Australia on the other hand...

I went to Belgium on a beer vacation. Totally worth it. Visiting Cantillon was so much better than the beer (And the beer is awesome).

You are right - the last time I bought from them was 3 - 4 years ago and the prices now look to be about 3 times what I paid then.

Yeah I was going to say @Brew_Betty saying it's a shelf turd in Canada has either never been there and is going off what someone falsely said or got really lucky at whatever shop he/she visited. It absolutely does not sit on shelves anywhere I've been in Canada and the majority of stores selling beer would never have a premium, imported product on the shelf in the first place. Finding a store selling "craft beer" is much more difficult in most of Canada due to government intervention. With that said, the 2 places I purchased Cantillon in North America were the Beer Bistro in Toronto and the Avenue Pub in New Orleans. Much more likely finding it at a bar versus a bottle shop

What part of CA ae you going to? Used to be relatively available out here, but dried up about 2 years ao, and the going explanation out here is that the east coast is sucking up all imports before it can get out our way...

Many kinds (no idea which, I got no $ for that biz!) collecting dust at Maplewood Liquors in San Jose, Ca.. $25-$60(!). I could have sworn I posted this earlier, but maybe the CIA (Cantillon Intelligence Agency) struck it from the records.
