So,what are some impressions of this brew? Haven't heard anyone's opinion...

thought it was really good. not sure about fun003 comparision, i don't think it'd be fair to be able to do that. too many good beers inbetween and i can't really remember anything much any more but hey it is almost lunch time and boy was it foggy this morning why am i thinking about karbach

 

Good, but not FUN 3 good, IMO.

 

Not FUN 3 good but better than 005 and on par with 007. Still too woody for my loving. But definitely enjoyed it.

 

I liked 005 more than 007. Never had 003.

 

fresh, I liked 005 more too...

The last bottle of 003 I had was pretty stellar though... only have 1 more left...

 

^Plan on drinking it anytime soon? I still have one left along with a 006 and I am pretty reluctant to crack them open.

 

not sure... I still have a couple of 004, 5, 6, and lots 7 left.... might hang onto it until I go through a couple of those... I did kill my last bottle of 002 just a couple of weeks back... gotta say, 2 years on that and it was much more balanced than fresh, and better than the 1 year point also.... I think the 008's I have are gonna sit for a while yet... While fresh I didn't get much barrel, at the 2 year point, the barrel and spices were in a really good balance and played off each other quite well...

 

003's are drinking mighty fine right now. If properly stored, I can see them going much longer.

 

I want to say I heard we were getting vanilla hellfighter in Austin... Well a vanilla Karbach to be specific so I'd assume that's what that is.
