Three German pilsners come to my immediate attention. I've had these beers from the bottle, yet the draft counterpart was much better:
    Uber Pils
    Pisner Urquell
    Privo Pils

Another favorite was a Czech style:
Berkshire Czech Style Pilsner (MA Brewery) excellent!

I've had others from the can, like Pikeland Pils, etc., however on draft they take on a different profile. Big difference with Pilsner Urquell on tap. Please note that I sampled these beers here in the USA. Pilsner Urquell is probably a whole other animal across the pond.

What are your faves, or single favorite Pilsner on tap?

    Pilsner Urquell is Czech no?
That being said, Paulaner Pilsner is tough to beat on tap.

Yes Pilsner Urquell is a bohemian pilsner - and in fact the first pilsnser.

Likely the beer is fresher since cases of bottled imports often collect dust at the beer store?

Victory Pils is good American one.

Keesmann Herren Pils. When it's "on" the Faessla Gold Pils is right there, too.
Prost Pils from Denver used to be phenomenal, but hasn't really been the same lately.
Kaiser Pils from Penn is damn good. Prima is, although it's a tad dry for my tastes.
While not necessarily authentic tasting, I like Pivo from FW.

Yep, I stand corrected. PU is Czech style. The German offering I should have stated in its place would be Jever. Excellent on tap, and although I often stock up Jever in bottle form, I prefer the draft version.

Prima Pils at Victory destroys its competition. Urquell from the keg on a clean line is vastly more floral than other times. Bitberger fresh is very clean with little bite. Weihenstephaner Pilsener is a fantastic starter for someone lacking style traits. I always love trying new attempts, but Prima always holds the crown.

Something about Prima Pils was off putting. Perhaps it could be that I'm not a fan of any Victory beer. Although, to be fair, I've never had Prima Pils on tap.

Urquell is not German, but of course you know that!

Well, I've had prima Pils (probably my favorite of theirs) Hop Ranch, Victory Hop Devil, their triple, Dirt Wolf, and to be honest I cannot jive to any of their styles. Same with Lagunitas. I also did not enjoy Lagunita's Pils. I had it on tap, as well as Sucks. No likey.

Prima Pils is very hoppy by most pilsner standards, which works well for most American tastes, but could be off-putting for those accustomed to European pilsners, not that they can't be hoppy too, but Prima is certainly on the far end of the bitterness spectrum.
    Fixed it for you!

perhaps you should try Headwaters, Helles or Storm King. Or Festbier in the fall (or on tap if you are lucky).

My favorite Pilsners on tap are:

Victory: Hip Czech, Braumeister Pils – Sladek, Braumeister Pils – Hallertauer Mittelfruh, Braumeister Pils – Saaz, Braumeister Pils – Tettnang

Sly Fox: Tettnang Keller Pils, Standard Pils, Charles Bridge Pilsner, 2nd Street Pils

    Triumph: German Pilsner, Czech Pilsner

    Neshaminy Creek: Trauger Pils

    Firestone Walker: Pivo Pils

    Sixpoint: Crisp

There is a combination of German Pilsners and Bohemian (Czech) Pilsners in the above list.

I am hoping that someday I will be able to drink a genuine Classic American Pilsner on tap. Maybe in 2017 as a World War I commemorative beer?

    Cheers!

I'm going to an event in NYC next week and I'll be checking if any of the mid-town and lower east side bars have Pilsners on tap. They have always been easy, tasty drinking. I've always sought them out in the summer time, but have really begun to appreciate the style during the colder months. On another note, I'm glad to see Pilsner Urquell in brown bottles. Haven't tried the brown bottle variety as of yet, but I'm hoping that it will not contain the slight skunk that I always seemed to detect from the greenies.

If I see any pils on draft, I'll at least ask for a taste. If it's legit, it's at least my first pour, if not what I'm drinking for the evening.

Pilsner Urquell on tap is amazing, just unfortunately rare to come by around here.

I'm a big Prima Pilsner fan, but I've never seen it on draft in this part of Ohio.
