good news. have heard mixed reactions to green flash's versions of alpine, but they will get it ironed out. who do crescent crown distribute to mostly?
I've only had two from Alpine: Duet: A- Pure Hoppiness: A+++++ off the charts insanity of perfection. Good news!!!
nelson is my go-to, along with hoppy birthday when it's out, but if they start bottling bad boy we are all going to be in trouble...
This is great news! So many great beers on the shelves here and it only gets better. Love our distribution here. I was looking at the American IPA style sheet here on BA and it's mind blowing how many of them are distributed into AZ. It truly is a blessing to be able to drink some of the best beers from around the country.
Crescent Crown distributes to stores and bars. I'm sure they're testing the waters by doing draft at first. They'll find out pretty quick how popular they are here. I just stopped in there two Saturdays ago on the way home from SD. They had just run out of Nelson but I was able to grab some Duet and Hoppiness. They aren't too shabby either.
Best support GF? But I don't like but one GF beer. I would love to try Alpine beers (and support them exclusively). This sounds like a macro big beer thing to say.
I think Exponential Hoppiness was my favorite of theirs, followed by Pure Hoppiness. Alpine does IPA/IIPAs very, very well.
I think it will find regular support. For many years I'm sure quite a few of us made it a practice to try and stop at Alpine on the way back from San Diego. I can remember when Alpine was fairly available in San Diego but that's another story. Anyway, I think they'll be loved. I've noticed a warm reception for Founder's beers here and I think Alpine will be even better.
