Any beer swishers out there besides me?

Twirl in the glass: yes
Swish in mouth: rarely

 

Once in awhile... coat coat that goodness!!!

 

I just try to make sure it gets to all the different buds. Ive been called out for it haha but i think w some beers its necessary

 

I have a couple of 'modes' of drinking beers, some more casual than others, but when I'm in 'evaluation mode' this is what I tend to do. Works great, too!

I'm with ya man, a good mouth swish and retro-hale always give a great understanding of the flavors

Not a swisher. I've tried, but don't get anything pleasant from the swish.

 

Nope, can't say I do. But I will extend my pinkie finger if ever so inclined.

 

I do this as well. Very useful technique when reviewing/judging a brew.

"Swish" to me sounds like pushing it through your teeth like mouthwash, which I don't think anyone does.
If you mean that sort of tongue-based rolling it around your mouth thing, yeah I do that. Sometimes breathe through my nose while I do as well, another wine thing.

 

Beat me to it by 2 minutes! I do occasionally gargle if I'm not getting acceptable amounts of taste. It does help. This is strictly an "at home" activity.

 

Yeah, and I'll occasionally swirl in the glass as well. None of that sucking in air business, though.

Swishing is fun,swinging would be better, however Mrs Nebbie, not a fan!
