Anything that Short's Brewing does that is a solid all-around beer.

It seems like they axe something great every year to do a bunch of experimental-style offerings with a bunch of adjunct ingredients. Not that I'm against experimenting, but there seems to be very little consistency year-to-year with production.

Also, I dug Three Floyds Pride and Joy bottles, perhaps phased out by the current big-hopped beer paradigm.

Totally agree, and it's too darn bad. A good amber ale is sometimes the perfect beer; not too hoppy, not too sweet, not too bitter, not too thick- or too thin-bodied, but full of flavor and an absolute pleasure to drink. Just picked up some Anderson Valley amber a few days ago and I noticed there were very few other ambers or reds on the shelves. Elliot Ness (which is also phenomenal) and a few others, but probably less than a dozen.

Yum Yum has replaced Pride and Joy as their mild ale.

Not sure if they make it to your area, but Saranac has a good lineup of german styles with good ratings. Their schwarzbier Black Forest is excellent.

Whatever is in my glass will disappear. Hate to be irreverent, but that is the only fear I harbor.

I occasionally see their stuff when I'm in Kansas, but they don't distribute to Missouri.

I would have to say Gandhi Bot. Due to all the current negative press regarding the name. I hope that at best they just keep brewing it and just change the name. A great beer and a great brewery.

Well the one I was shocked to hear of its disappearance was GL The Wright Pils. But hopefully, Great Lakes will realize they've made a mistake.

So yeah, I'm concerned about that. But in general, I'm concerned about the disappearance of Czech pilseners.

One can always hope. Though Holy Moses has been gone a while except for a brief reappearance as one beer of many in one of their variety packs this year, and The Doppelrock has also been dropped except for brewpub-only taps, so I'm not exactly hopeful. At least one of the new beers in the lineup is the Alberta Clipper, so an adjunct porter rather than another IPA / DIPA.

I came here specifically to say this. There has been a buzz around whether or not SN will keep this in the portfolio...

There have been a couple of previous discussions about this and if I remember correctly, @sierranevadabill has chimed in to say that they've looked at dropping Kellerweis but that it won't be going away any time too soon. But losing a hefeweizen of that quality and price at any time in the future would make me sad.

I wouldn't worry about that if I were you. Maybe it's just popular with people down in Chicago. Where I'm at, I've seen a surplus for over two months now at the four stores that i shop at regularly. I've bought two packs so far, and the bottle dates are 10/21/14

That was my bad. I meant Imperial Biscotti Break. I very rarely see it anymore so I try to scoop it up whenever I can.

The Evil Twin website isn't very helpful as far as a Beer calendar or release announcements so that makes me nervous that once it is gone... It's gone.

Short's Cup of Joe causes me the most concern. Every year for the last couple years Short's has forced us into voting to keep it on the schedule so it is obvious this is a beer that they do not wish to brew any longer.
