As far as I know, they haven't acknowledged it. Why should they when blindly loyal customers keep forking over the cash for flat beer?

They just spent $30 million on a new "destination" brewery that 'everyone' has been fawning over. Sorry, not having your canning line operating correctly is ridiculous and far from a 'growing pain.' The lengths people go to avoid criticizing this brewery is simply hilarious. If this had been any other brewery charging that much for flat beer the crowd on here would be up in arms.

I think the people who got flat beer are up in arms. Mine wasn't flat and tasted great, so what do I have to complain about?

You're supposed to be up in arms, and vow to never buy or drink their beer again. Social media campaigns, demonstrations, and the like. After all, that's what happens when breweries have issues. Why do you think Central Waters went out of business after the Peruvian Morning fiasco?

And people who get overly critical is simply hilarious as well. Some of the beer is flat. It sucks. It's a mistake. Not like they are purposly going out to screw people. Let them know, they can work on the issue and correct it. Life moves on. it's not something that I feel someone should get overly hung up on .

Same here, 1/12/2015 date, very little carb, poured a very weak to no head that was gone within seconds. Afterward, I took solace in another double IPA and promptly opened a fresh Fulton Insurrection, which poured 2.5'' creamy head that lasted over 5 minutes.

Are you suggesting that critiquing a brewery that just opened a new $30 facility to much fan-fare and is selling flat beer from it is being overly critical?

Why does it matter if they just opened a new $30 facility?
And harping over it again and again like is starting to happen is. To me it's one of those things. It happened. They didn't do it on purpose. No one is going to be harmed by it. Let them know. Bring it back to the store and move on.

So, are my two posts harping, or is everyone who paid $16+ bucks, got flat beer and posting it on here harping?

Why should anyone who gets a sub-par product simply move on? Nobody should be held to any kind of a QC standard? What's wrong with potential customers knowing that Abrasive may be flat?

I could care less who the brewery is, if your going to charge 16$ for 4 16oz cans then it should have zero defects. Sierra Nevada, Summit and many others charge far less and I have never seen these issues.

Every so often, I sneak into the brewery and lick the tops of all the cans.

Who's glass is dirty now, Surly Nation?

Sad thing is people are trading it away.
Talked to a guy last night who knows about the QC issue, but when I asked if he was going to at least warn the guy on the other end he just rolled his eyes and said he was just going to let it ride...

Everyone I am sending it to, I have pointed to this thread and pointed out the possible issue and let them decide if they still wanted to do the trade.
