That's actually exactly what I do. I roll it around on the tongue first, then go for a pull.

I am a swisher, most times at least 10 seconds with first sip, 5 seconds every drink after.

As part of the process of tasting-- absolutely. I'll also do an inhaling sip. Hold the beer over different parts of my tongue. And do both short and long sips. Definitely part of the quest to find all the tasting notes I can.

Yeah I do the swish/swirl for the first few sips - I try to saturate my palate to capture all the notes.

I was thinking this thread needs videos, but then realized that the images I am creating in my head are probably more entertaining. Still, seeing all of this played out in person would be fantastic. We should rent out a taproom.

I drink all my beer using a three foot long crazy straw with a sprinkler/sparkler fixed to the business end. I never have this problem.

Swish? As in swish it around in your mouth to savor every bit of taste possible? Hell yes, every sip. Haha.

I usually do let the beer roll around my tongue a bit to really get all the flavors, I do the air-intake-wine thing sometimes, but that doesn't seem to make as much of a difference like it does with wine
