New member here! I drank my bottles of 2014 darkness over christmas. I wish I would have held on to one bottle. Anyone know if there is going to be a second release. I want to pick up a bottle for myself and a friend. Also, anyone know the trade value of a a single bottle of 2014 goose island bourbon county stout? I am new to all this but interested.

I don't believe there will be a second batch like last year. The second batch last year seemed to be due to them entering the Chicago market. We just got lucky and got some of it here as well.

trade value of a 2014 BCBS would be $6

But what about the places charging 9.99 per bottle? Did I lose value?

Yes, you likely did. I'm not saying you won't be able to hold out and get $10 in trade, but on average i'd expect $6 to $7.50 of similarly rare beer. You could probably get $10 of shelf beer in a trade.

Maybe if you threw in a bottle of vanilla extract with it?
