Doesn't even come close to Mash and Coconut.

I'm trying to figure out the legend on the website's tasting room list. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out the difference between "RS" and "RS32" on the list. I'm assuming "RS32" means they'll only fill RS 32 oz growlers, but what does "RS" mean? 32 oz and 2L fills are available? That makes the most sense but I want to make sure I'm thinking straight. And what are the prices for these fills? It says RS or RS32 where the prices should be.

Sorry if these have already been answered elsewhere. I tried looking through the whole thread before asking but I might've missed something in 9+ pages.

I guess formulating an opinion in a forum I should have asked your permission
Next time I will private message you and see if it is OK to post because your such an authority.

Was asked on pg 7. Not that far back. Plus, in addition to beer, I'm a strong "Ctrl F" advocate.

Yeah, but 2014 Mash and Grind is fantastic, 2013 was great, but, damn, change of coffee or whatever, the last Mash and Grind was an almost worthy replacement for Coconut.

Mash and Grind is great, but I agree with this.

I hope they at least do another version for the taproom this year. Would be amazing to get bottles

I agree that Mash and Grind is great but to me, Mash and Coconut is on a whole other level. It may have been the most enjoyable coconut beer I've ever had. The nose was pure macaroon and the taste was close to that as well.

Great, I'm glad we're on the same page here.

Seriously though, did you email the Bruery and ask for an update? Or are you just going to continue posting every four days (thank you @FrogOut69 for the schedule) asking for info that no one actually has?

The Hyrdoflask needs to be tightened down good to keep the liquid in.

My first 2 fills had no issues, just got home with my 3rd fill and the fucker leaked all over and through my growler bag. It wasn't "tightened down good" enough. Pretty sure the growlers leaking is more user error than the hydroflask being defective.

Even though I didn't get a direct answer to my question whether we will have more time or not to pick up the Mango Hottenroth, here's the response I got:

    Hi Jeff,
The bottles should be up for release any day now. Sorry I cannot give you an exact date but it has not yet been disclosed what date these beers are releasing. This is a beer you will want to enjoy fresh so I would suggest waiting for the email before you purchase you shippers.
    Cheers

There was a post on the Reserve Society Facebook page that covered everything pretty clearly.[IMG]

I saw that post, but it looks to be out of date based on what's currently on the Bruery's website. I was trying to work from what's on the website now.

In any case, I think I've got it figured out now. Thanks to everyone who helped.

I had an issue with my oude tart spilling out of it as well. Then when I tightened it like crazy at home and left it in the fridge for the night, it was really hard to open next day. So so far, not too excited about it, but we'll see with the next few fills, maybe it'll get better.

Do normal/off the shelf Hydroflasks have these same leaking issues that people are talking about?

I was just about to ask the same thing. I know Bottle Logic uses them. Does anyone have theirs and if so, are you getting the same results?

The wide mouth ones are the same. There are some narrow mouth ones that have adifferent style of cap.

You can buy a straw cap for the wide mouth bottles. Sipping Sucre through straw cap? Sounds awesome.

Bottle Logic I think uses the FiftyFifty brand and not Hydroflask.

There's a decent article by Popular Mechanics on SS Growlers: http://www.popularmechanics.com/tec...ive-lab-test-stainless-steel-growlers#slide-1

Apparently Hydroflask does really well at keeping the liquid to temperature but the caps are not so great.

So have we moved on from infected MW to defective growlers?

Aside from the issue of leaking...if it's not even liquid tight, wouldn't that imply it's also not gas tight, and will lose carbonation if left for more than a few days? I'm guessing no one has kept a full one around for long yet but I'm curious to see how beer would hold up in one for more than 24 hours.
