I've been in there several dozen times and never saw anything worth buying. I did notice, however, that they had tons of unsold 312 and Honker's Ale. Coincidence?

Im heading into the city today with the girlfriend. Any sightings on Bourbon County Stuff (coffee, vanilla, or reg) looking for bottles, not taps

    thanks!

You may find some regular around, but unfortunately coffee and vanilla are long gone.

I ended up finding a couple bottles of regular at fort point market (literally right next door to trillium). It was my first and last time going to that shop. Place clearly has a bunch out back but will only sell singles to benefit themselves and make as much money as possible. I dont do business with greedy retailers.

I've been to Fort Point Market a number of times; they have a good selection, reasonable prices and treat customers right, IMHO.

I'm sorry if you had a bad experience, but these guys are always fair with me and I maybe pop in once a month or so. During Goose Island Migration Week in March '14 (I think), I bought an entire four-pack of BCBS Coffee there for $24. That's not one of the places that I usually think of when I think about overpriced stores in Boston.

Curious how much you paid for a single of BCBS and if you were really getting gouged there...? I think the reason a lot is out back is the significant lack of floor space in the store.

In case anyone is interested, BCBS Coffee '14, Barleywine' 13 and '14 and Regular '13 and' 14 all on tap at Hugh O'Neill's in Malden. $15 for 10 oz. pour of coffee. $12 for 10 oz. of others. Plus GI Minx '12 and Matilda Lambicus on tap too.

I know a bottle shop owner who puts limited stuff in the back and randomly puts it out on the shelf to surprise people and give those who aren't hunting for it a shot. It has nothing to do with make extra money in his case. It gives him an opportunity have some special beer to put out during slower times.

I went to a liquor store in Swansea, MA today I think it was called Vintage barn wine and spirits. They must of had 2 cases of BCBS on the shelf. No variants though. I asked.

    cheers

Charles St. Liquors usually has a decent selection. Not sure whether they have any BCBS though.

Edit: Also, Boston Wine Exchange on Devonshire is nearby.

Where are you planning to watch? If you're near Copley / Back Bay T stop, Urban Grape on Columbus is a good bet. Bonus: grab a beer at Salty Pig or Coda after the parade.

I think the Yankee Spirits in Swansea still has 'regular', but no variants to be had either. I'm stocked on BW but just want one damn bottle of coffee/vanilla haha

unfortunately i didnt get the chance to get out anywhere. Close to a million fans showed up for the parade and the commuter rail was already backed up. it was in my best interest to get out ASAP before it got even worse lol.

Hopefully ill be able to take a trip up again this week

Redstone and/or Kappy's will probably have some variants. Kappy's for sure.

I'd be cautious after the Kappy's mess last year.
