A little pr0n for you guys from a trade I just completed. Trade was for ADWTD. Rest were extras. Very pumped to get to try Supplication!

 

Jesus. These guys just continue to crush every hoppy brew they make... This is a massive improvement on the Fort Point base... and I really liked Fort Point. Cheers!

I hope you enjoy the box! And, I made sure to keep it to a sixer. Obviously the NG apple and spice are treats and the Drago comes in a nifty reuseable bottle, so that is the swag. And the rootbeer, well, that's just root beer...

Salt Lake City to Boston. You're quite the traveler. Even though I haven't been to either I would think its safe to say that the beer and food are far better in Boston.

 

So we were invited over to neighbor's for the evening -- and Mrs. neighbor told my wife "Joe said he has beer in the house Mike will like" -- this is someone who considers Warsteiner craft beer. SO... I am bringing over a mixed six-pack of random beers that I have either had before or had multiples of -- I figure I will either drink them myself, or hopefully whoever tries them at least likes and appreciates them. If I log in anything really weird tonight you will know why.

And I had to pregame with one of my Round 3 beers from @treznor



My first New Glarus fruit beer -- tasted like cherry soda (but in a good way).

That's actually a pretty good question, but signing up isn't quite that simple, we kinda like to date you before we take the next step

edit: To answer your question, we're finishing up a round now so it'll probably be a little while.


Instead of typing this again, I just cut and paste from the last person that looked in on joining our group:

This thread started nearly a year ago with a "shotgun" BIF where a group of us (many still active, some not) all sent each other some beer, specifically local beer. The thread has since also played host to 3 more rounds of this same thing (2 were "small" rounds and one other "large" one), and one (going on three) "traditional" BIF (one box makes the rounds to one person at a time until everyone has received it). We also have had a metric fuckton of in-thread trades, LIFs (giveaways for any/no reason with any/no qualifications for winning, such as the one for which you just put in a guess).

Bottom line though, we at this point are our own community, bordering on a family. We love to ship beer to each other, for any or no reason, and do so very regularly. Joining this group will be one of the best but also most expensive decisions you'll make on BA.

It is also recommended that new members of the group read through some thread history, just to get a feel for the kind of shenanigans we get up to. Introducing yourself with a bit more detail is probably a good idea as well, and while it is in NO WAY required, it is not uncommon for new members to offer their own LIF as part of that introduction. I cannot stress enough that this is not at all required or expected, but since it's become a bit of a tradition I wouldn't want to leave it out.

Mad Elf: just had my first one this past Xmas and now I can age one
Resurgence Imperial Sponge Candy Stout - I have no idea what sponge candy is besides it's some yankee candy that was an answer to the LIF. This sounds awesome.
Singlecut Bon Bon 2xTNT IIPA- that's a mouthful, and it's a mouthful of hops at 147 IBU. Yes please.
Captain Lawrence Liquid Gold - this one sounds interesting, and new to me!
Crooked Stave Surette - my first CS and a want. Pumped
Carton 077XX - this is good, happy to get more, especially IPA's because I drink them so quick
Carton Regular Coffee - I see y'all talking about this beer currently, so pretty excited to get to try something buzzy right when it comes out.

Dennis- awesome box, thank you so much! And I promise not to make more than one guess a day on LIF's.

And BTW- trying to get me some of that bone marrow very soon.
