I don't know about y'all but I'm sick of the way Saint Arnold distributes Divine Reserve.

I'm traveling to NY for work this week and even though they've got me staying in an excellent room at the Waldorf and I can expense all my meals and I get to see friends while I'm up here and drink great beers and go to Tørst (should this blizzard end), and all the other things, I don't see what I did to deserve missing DR15 day.

Saint Arnold should have consulted me to ensure that my travel schedule didn't conflict. Ugh.

Wow...I seem to have underestimated the demand on this one...the picture was literally 6 or 7 cases of this stuff.

I just walked into my local HEB on Mason and picked up 2 6'ers. Still some left on the shelf and bombers on the floor.

Disagree..Just as good, depending on what you like. DR right now is a bit more hoppy, more along the lines of Storm King. With better balance than either. Just my opinion

I'm with you, I love Ten Fidy and like DR15 more

I'd say it's my favorite St Arnold beer I've had to date (disclosure: have not had all the BBs or the first 8ish DRs)

Really really good beer by the way. I like it even more because I don't have to trade for it, have it shipped, or just open a bottle on special occasions. My game plan was let this cool business cat with a gold tie and sunglasses buy me 2 cases and 8 bombers and deliver it to my kitchen door in a pimped out F150. How easy is that. If I see anymore I will get more.

To me DR5 was at its peak at about 1 year so drink up and enjoy the next year.

    Cheers

I agree. Haven't tried this one, but looked at my notes on DR5. Thought it was harsh fres, but smooth at six months and even better at one year. I think that is normal for a lot of good imperial stouts, actually.

The hops and roast are just the way I remember DR5, does anybody know what is the difference in batch sizes between DR5 and DR15?

If this is a hoppy stout, I may grab two six packs instead of just one.

I looked at one store yesterday and didn't see it. I'll check a few more and see if I get lucky. I'm not really gonna search too hard for this. Matter of fact, I'm pretty much done searching for beer. Too many other good options out there.

Had one last night, really enjoyed it; I'll hide some in the back of my fridge so it can age a little.

Odd, Saint Arnold used to list that info on their website but now it's gone. I bet DR15 is at least 2-3 times larger.

EDIT — DR5 was 1,276 cases of 12 oz. bottles. I don't know what DR14 or 15 were, but each release grew larger than the last, and DR13 was 4,065 cases of 12 oz. bottles, 1,187 cases of 22 oz. bottles, 136 half-barrel kegs, 179 slim kegs, 64 casks
