I'll take things people say that are rarely seen in the wild for $1000.

...how can a beer sin list have any legitimacy without whale-chasing/hunting and truck chasing?

I'm none of those, but Two Hearted is mediocre at best.

    ...well I'm one of those.

I never belittle someone for liking a beer. I just tell verbalize my take on the beer and where it either left me wanting or was simply too much.

I think the tinker vote is by far the highest, because it's the least damning. Some of those others would be harder to admit

I chose 'other' because I'm more of a 'refiner.' No matter how good or how expensive it still comes out the same way. Okay, who am I kidding, I'm a hoarder and a ticker. There I said it. I'll now reward my admission with loading the 'refinery.'

I'm a ticker and I find nothing wrong with it. I don't even live in a good beer market and there are new beers hitting the shelves every single week, year-round. Am I supposed to not try anything new? And why does reviewing or writing about each new beer make that bad?

PS I'm not trying to sound defensive and pissy. I'm just sayin'.

I'm a ticker and my girlfriend is a judger, though not in the OP's definition. She judges porters for being watered-down stouts, certain beers classified as "sours" not being nearly sour enough and people who drink BMC. The "judger" that the OP describes I've never encountered or even heard of. Sounds like that person is a complete asshole.

I don't see the problem with being a "ticker". I would probably fall into that category, technically.

My answer would probably be Ticker except I'm not convinced that ticking is a sin.

Other than that, I'd say Culture Counter; have I mentioned that Two-hearted is totally overrated...

hahahahaha ... at least all our tickers are honest.

I put in culture counter because I think American hoppy brews are overrated. Sue me.:stuck_out_tongue:

I have said this before on multiple threads- I love ticking and whale hunting because they add an element of sport to this great hobby of ours. As long as you take the time to truly judge the beer and compare it to others, go back to your favorites frequently......what's wrong with ticking?

How will you know if you have ever had your favorite beer if you don't try them all? LOL

Ticker, & damn proud to be! If it wasn't for those tendencies in me, I'd still be drinking BMC shit :open_mouth:

People who only drink barrel-aged beers and won't try a lager. Craft beer snobs, or some such. Or, perhaps a classist mentality that is making its way into the craft beer scene - people with money only buying expensive beer, because it has to be good because it is expensive. Linked to hoarders, but not quite the same.
