That's how I felt too, until earlier today. Someone made a joke about SBAS (Saga Barrel-Aged Saga). I don't know how, but a Saga joke made me laugh. The shame.:slight_frown:

I'm currently experiencing something similar. I traded for 8 cans, of all which are 1/9 canning dates. He had them wrapped individually, so I'm uncertain which 4-packs went together, but so far I've attempted to drink 4: 1 was great, and 3 were very flat, with little to no carbonation and were syrupy. Had to drain pour.

I'm confused as to why anyone from Minnesota would trade any Abrasive from this first batch.

    Why would you be confused?

People may have packed up & sent their cans right away, before reports started rolling in. People may have packed up their cans & sent them off early on when there appeared to be only isolated incidents. And believe it or not (gasp!) there are some people who don't check these boards 10 times daily.

Now that the issue has been brought up 452 times in 16 different threads, I'd agree, nobody should be trading first-batch Abrasive unless their trading partner knew the risks & everybody should know. But I completely understand why some of it slipped out early (almost happened to me).

No not at all, everything was packaged great! Just stating I wasn't certain which cans went together in the original 4-packs since I tried opening four of them so far.

Not your fault, A+ trade job! Sorry if that was confusing.

Last week I shipped a single 4-pack (1/13/15 from GVLB) to trading friend in Florida. Saw threads of issues that afternoon and immediately emailed him to let him know in advance what to look for and let him know I'd send him more or something else if he got any bad cans. Luckily for me he's told me all have been perfect so far.

This isn't rewaxed and refilled Assassin. I really imagine most abrasive that was sent out was done in good faith and people were not aware of this issue yet. Perhaps some were, but I'm inclined to agree with @maximum12.

I'm sure most if not all was done in good faith. I just personally wouldn't have done it with shipping costs being what they are these days I guess.

Why... why is there Abrasive in a plastic cup? Particularly in a kitchen with granite countertops and tiled splashback? Especially since its a properly canned Abrasive? Whyyyyy

Drank 10 cans of 1-19-15 Abrasive, all have been perfect, the only complaint I've got is they are filled to the absolute top, so when I open a can, about 11 drops spill out and end up on my hand and counter...

Too lazy to wash glasses? Uhh, a dishwasher doesn't wash your dishes?
