Looks like they're doing Independence Day celebrations on Tuesday in Burlington if anyone is going to be around then.

And the Farmhouse is having a backyard BBQ style cookout on the 4th itself. I might go do one of the other.

Some 4th this year with the mid-week holiday! I am working all week, and taking Friday off instead - hmmph! FYI: Am hosting our 11th "Cheese Loves Beer!" pairing event at American Flatbread/Zero Gravity Brewing in Burlington on Sunday, July 1st at 1pm. Will be 8 cheese w/ 8 house beers, pretty much a meal for $30/person. You can call them at (802) 861-2999 to reserve - only 25 seats. Hope I am not too hungover from the Meet-Up to do my presentation with Paul next morning in a coherent fashion!:slight_frown:

Drat. No way will the wife be healed from her musical chairs accident by then.
Hoping to be out towards the end of July instead.

Sadly, won't make it on saturday. I'd be interested in an august edition!

Damn. You guys are making it tough to stay at my campsite any length of time. Gonna leave the decision on this one to SWMBO. Already planning an excursion to Starr Beach, Farm House Tap and Grill, Hill Farmstead/The Alchemist/Prohibition Pig.

I'm bringing pretzel bread, enough to share. I'm not, however, bringing mustard, cause I hate it. Someone should bring mustard, especially a beer-infused mustard, to accompany.

Got you covered. I have 2 jars of McAuslan Beer Mustard I got last trip to Montreal.

I should have enough brats in beer(with peppers and onions) to go around. I will have mustard. Sarah is making some kind of beer cookies.

I'd bring pierogi with potato mashed in beer as filling...

I've also got some Rodenbach-pickled cherries and some "hoppy" peanut brittle that … isn't, unfortunately.

There's a sever lack of bacon in the menu for Saturday. Are beer-marinated, bacon-wrapped hot dogs too brutish for our lunch?

Only if the hot dogs are made of tofu. and it's turkey bacon.:grinning:

Is there anyone here that HASN'T had Rogue voodoo maple bacon donut yet? I have one bottle I can't even get rid of. I can bring that with if anyone wants to try it.

Agreed! BUT I still feel like everyone has to try it (once). A friend (not a beer drinker) bought a few because of the name, tasted it and hated, it obv. He gave me the leftovers and I have been giving them to friends who haven't had it yet.

If you bring it, and no one wants to open it, I'll trade you for it, if only as my partner brought it up recently, and I … dismissed the idea. It'd be nice to show her why.

I plan on bringing a grab box of assorted beers for people to take(ok mostly Shorts and other extras I will probably never drink).
