Any size 11 still out there?

 

Seen a few cases at f44 on Friday

 

I bought some at Surdyks on mon. About four were left

 

it won't be in stores in MN until the week of the 9th.

 

The brewery still has it for sale and on tap.

Was Hopslam delayed? I thought Bells had posted next week for MN.

 

Bell's wants to wait about 30 days before they send it so we can all complain about how old it is and not even worth buying. All this to watch it still sell out and we still complain that it isn't fresh while we drink it.

You know that they didn't make all of the Hopslam in one day, right? Will MN be one of the last markets to get it? Yes. Will there be fresher Hopslam anywhere else on earth the day it hits? No.

 

Hopslam has a nostalgic place in my stomach. However with abrasive, size 11, insurrection, scream, enjoy by, etc. etc. readily available and in most cases a notch or two above hopslam; it's kinda a non-issue. No need to buy it unless your looking for a trip down memory lane. Too many better options now out there.

 

It was just a joke. It will still taste delicious by the time it gets to mn regardless of the batch #.

 

I will buy 1 sixer as a trip down memory lane. I remember the first time I had this beer back in 08 and couldn't believe my tastebuds. I agree, we have a ton other readily available options, but this is one I always look forward to. Kind of like Celebration ale.

I figured the BBBW probably hadn't hit yet, but thought I'd include it with the question.

 

There was quite a bit of the BBS at Haskell's Minnetonka last week.
