Double the bottles, yet they will likely still be limit one and just as hard to find, b/c beer...

Awesome to see, delicious beer. Can't wait for French quarter. I haven't chased beer in well over a year but that might change in about a week.

Also $13 a bottle is a little ridiculous. That's almost 60 cents an ounce. The Prairie Bomb series is the only thing I'm willing to pay that much for.

Well well good sir, I guess I will be outside your doors around 9:59am on Monday or whenever it comes in. Viva la Fern.

No more ridiculous than JK beers, some St A's beers, Dark Lord, Darkness, etc. I'll pay $13 allllllllllll day long for that sweet nectar.

I also happen to be quite find of raspberry stouts and they have the TX market by the balls in that category. It's delicious regardless but with no in state competition they won't have a problem selling it.

I should amend that to "only thing I'm willing to pay that much for in Dallas." You cant even get hold of most of those other beers in Dallas so not a fair comparison. Lakewood is no Three Floyd's, St Arnold's or Jester King, at least not yet.

I think the issue is that it is not barrel aged and coming in at that price. Most of the beers listed were barrel aged....

But, I will still buy it because it is a good beer.

I hope Houston gets some, it mentions distributing to North Texas but nowhere else?

According to the brewery, North Texas (D/FW and surrounding areas) is the only place THEY are distributing the beer.

No they are not and I could care less about pedigree. I'll take French quarter Temptress over Dark Diabeetus any day. As far as a fair comparison, as I said, there are no fair comparisons in the state so they have a huge advantage if you want a delicious raspberry stout.

Not sure if you were referring to the list I mentioned but most of them are not ba'd unless it's a special very limited version.

I don't care what I spend on beer..as long as I can BS and share it with good folks. Beer is only as good as the company I keep.

If anyone happens upon an extra of this and wants to help an Austin brother out, I'm sure we could make each other happy
