Hello all so my GF enjoys trying craft beer with me but she is looking for a light beer with less calories . I do not want to buy her Mic Ultra/Miller lite amstel
She enjoys allagash white ,captain lawrence xtra gold
312 Urban Wheat - Goose Island Beer
Big Wave Golden Ale - Kona Brewing

Any thoughts on a lower calories beer that is still quality similar to ones listed ??

Low ABV generally means low calories. So look for stuff in the 5% range to limit calories. Most witbiers and hefeweizens are pretty low in calories. If she like hops, lots of pale ales are low in calories too.

Try Berliner Weiss and lambics can come in with lower abv's or just talk a walk or a bike ride for about 10 - 15 minutes per beer.

Yeah, but the fruit beers often have some residual sugar which adds calories.

Yeah, gonna probably have to stick with the lower abv brews like session IPAs, pale ales and pale wheats but she could also get into some lighter sours like lower abv Berliner Weis, American wild ales and gueuze

If calories is an issue maybe she should stick to water?

you can most likely find calories on any beer that sees decent distribution on line. there are tons of lists out there. good luck.

    Cool, will do.

If I drink 15 of them should I still ride my bike or would that be frowned upon?

I don't want to bring down Ticket Master's system. The moment word gets out that people can pay to watch me get shitfaced and ride my bike there would be absolute fucking mayhem. I can't even ride my bike as it is without causing a sensation around town, whenever I do it I got people and even the cops chasing after me so I have to ride so fast I can hear the wind in my ears, and that's when I'm stone cold sober.
I do ride naked while maintaining a full erection though so who knows.

Yeah, look for "dry" tasting beers with lower ABV, like Saisons. The biggest factor besides ABV is going to be the Final Gravity of the beer.

If she likes Goose island, Honkers is only 4.3%abv, which should make it in the range caloric wise of light beers.

All of the above suggestions are good picks. The myth of craft beer being more caloric is just that for the most part, with your average macro being around 5 or 6 percent that is just as caloric as any craft beer in that range (with some exceptions). I saw a helpful conversion on here a while back, 30 calories for ever % abv, so a 5% beer is going to be 150 and so on. Hopefully that helps a bit.

My better half rarely drinks beer. When she wants to get rid of the calories, I "work it off" if you know what I mean.

I know exactly what you mean.
You don't allow her to eat for days on end, and I agree it's the only way to make them learn their lesson.
