Good point. To address this concern and @LehighAce06's concern about ninja shipments, maybe we could give a couple people write permissions and the entire group read permissions?

 

I would like it to give out free beer. Oh wait, it pretty much does that already.

This is a great idea! Currently there are Fyodor's Classic sitting on shelves, I see it once in awhile in the ISO/FT.

Alpine is a 35 min drive one way.

I'm sure these are some examples The Locals would be interested in.

NBO - SixterCAN trip #1

If you would like to be in consideration to be the recipient of a box filled with 6 cans (and then some), please BM me your shipping address. If you would prefer to skip this trip and sign up for a future trip, don't send me your address and wait for the next person to post their NBO to sign up.

Signup period ends at 8pm on Monday, February 2nd. At that time I will randomly select the recipient and start posting hints as to who it is. Box will be shipped as soon as I get it ready!

How SixterCAN works:

1) The current holder of the SixterCAN box will make a post in the Locals BIF thread saying that the signup period for the next Trip is open and will be open for 2 or 3 days. Anyone that would like to be a potential target for the box would send their address information in a BM to the current holder of the box. To be eligible the person must have:
a) participated in a previous or current Locals BIF round.
b) have not already received the SixterCAN box.

2) After the signup period is over, the current holder will randomly (or using any criteria of their choosing) pick the next lucky recipient of the SixterCAN box. They will not announce this person nor the number of people that signed up, but instead will start posting hints as to where the box is going (BIF style hints). If no one signs up to be the next recipient then, as the original founder, @LehighAce06 will be the final recipient (hopefully without him knowing that it is coming to him).

3) The holder of the SixterCAN box will fill the interior box with high quality (preferably local) cans, and ship it to the target. Make it a kickass box, but with this group of people I know we won't have to worry about that. Also, add the targets name to the tracking board in the box and add any 'decorations' that you wish to help commemorate the box's visit to your state.

4) The outer box will also be filled with 'extras' or swag, please make sure to replace whatever you take; not necessarily exact, 'IPA for an IPA' or 'hat for a hat', but please keep in mind the quality of what was removed, as well as your target's distro.

5) Once the box is received by the target, they will post the pr0n for all to enjoy.

6) Start over at #1

You do not have to enter every signup period. You can pick and choose when you want to be in consideration to be the next recipient. This would be nice if the current holder of the box is from your own state or an adjoining state or if you are going to be out of town for a while or whatever. Jump in and out as you please.

 

Went home early in anticipation of @PA-Michigander 's box and of course Nick didn't disappoint! One very unsuspicious well packed box filled w tons of wants. Nick is already locked in on the type of beer I like just by going over my wants. Let's get started...

Best guess hoping I PIR everyone in this mother is 31:31:31 as 13 is my lucky number but I doubt it's only been thirteen hours or 131 hours.
