I'm kind of on the fence with this brewery. I often think about buying their stuff but then often I don't. I did really like the Sweet Baby Jesus porter. Kind of liked some of the other stuff but nothing really stands out. I'd like to buy more singles.

I second the fact that they are trying to do to much. I get an email from them about every couple weeks about a new release. They need to concentrate on a core lineup then expand. I'm not far from the Bel Air location and usually go once a month. Tuesday's are all day happy hour.

Just had Sweet Baby Jesus a few hours ago. Brother brought me a 65 oz growler, all I've ever had from them but I thought it was awesome and super drinkable. Half the growler was gone in no time. Looking forward to try some more from them.

Jeez, we have their brown ale (I think) at the store I work at and it just sits there. Their branding makes it seem like it'd be on par with Modelo or something.

I tried using my mildly drunken Google-Fu, but couldn't find anything about them being sold. Would you mind elaborating? When were they sold? Who bought them? I've not been home in almost 5 years and don't get The Aegis (Harford Co paper), so I didn't realise they were sold.

To each their own. I'm glad that others are enjoying their beer. Personally, I have yet to find them anything but ordinary.

DuClaw doesn't distribute to NY but I had Sweet Baby Jesus in NJ and loved it. The only peanut butter flavored beer I enjoy more is Belching Beaver's Peanut Butter Milk Stout, but as I don't live in San Diego, I could easily settle for SBJ every so often.

They're hitting a bit more often (Devils Milk was real solid, Devils Due was better than some barrel aged beers) but damn do they make a ton of beers. Seems like every week they're releasing a new beer in 6 packs.

The only change I am aware of is that they no longer brew at the Bel Air location. They brew in Baltimore now. They do not do brewery tours at this time.

I don't care much for DuClaw but props to you for the KBS and Bourbon County line.

Not a huge Duclaw fan, but Devils Due was a great beer, especially after it warmed up

DuClaw just expanded into NC about a month ago, and they're everywhere. Had their IPA on draught and wasn't impressed at all.

I remember having a bottle of Misery (their wheat wine) a couple years ago and really liking it.

The only ones I tried were Cocoa Fuego and Little Dirty Freak. Both were pretty good and different. Also have a bottle of Retribution that I'm waiting to drink with a friend.

As brown ales go, it's actually pretty decent. Problem is how unsexy browns have become. Their Hopfest is good when fresh but their barley wine is just violent and awesome. They need to modernize their look though.

They had moved from Bel Air to another place in Harford Co (I think Abington) when I was still up there due to demand, but the move to the White Marsh area was after I left.
