I'm sorry to single your post but there are so many I could quote. Is tolerance a thing of the past? I mean seriously a bomber is only two 12oz servings. Anyone who has been drinking craft for any reasonable amount should not have to worry about a hangover from a bomber that is under 15%.

I drink the whole thing but I don't plan on going anywhere after.

Open bottle ,Insert bendy straw , bend straw over the lip of the bottle opening, pinch straw closed with thumb while tilting bottle toward face hole, relax throat and swallow often as liquid flows out of bottle and into face hole, discard empty bottle.

With the recapping bombers and growlers, another thing to keep in mind is that the less beer that is left in the bottle relative to the head space, the more the carbonation will drop out.

95% of the time I don't open a high ABV (>10%) bomber or 750 unless I have someone to share it with, but my wife is usually more than willing.

I only crack open a 750ml strong beer when it's late enough that I won't be drinking much after it.

I have a cheap bottle capper that can recap bottles and there is very little change after 4 days in the fridge. After a week the flavor is about the same and the carbonation is slightly less and then its all down hill from there. The problem with the capper is that I have to go down into the basement to get it and it is easier to just finish the beer. I was judging beer this last weekend and a friend had an opener that also worked as a capper. that would be slick because it would fit in a kitchen drawer. I couldn't find one on Amazon. Has anyone seen anything like this?

I found a Bois still at a local store. I hit up my friends last night seeing who wanted to split a $35 birthday ale with me and no one was down.

I'm going to chug that big Biatch some day, when my friends are around to witness it!

I plan on cracking a bottle of Speedway this Sunday for the SuperBowl. Figure I'll start drinking around 3 for pre game and then sip those 22oz down over the course of the next 6-7 hours, no big deal.

Drink half, or a little more than half, cap it and enjoy the next day.

I can drink the 750ml myself but I'd feel like an alcoholic afterwards. I bought a vacuum seal cork which keeps my beer fresh so I can drink the rest over the course of a few days. Most times I only bring out a 750ml bottle to share with friends.

When drinking 750ml, I'm usually sharing a few with friends, so "open the beer, finish, repeat".

Sorry if already mentioned, but my suggestion is to get a wine pump/vacuum and use that for the rest of your beer and have it within a couple of days after. I used mine 2 nights ago on an imperial stout and if was delicious today. I think I have a Brookstone one that screws on its cap. But the pump one is great, too. Sucks the oxygen out for wine and beer.

Sip it and savor it over a couple hours. You won't regret it

I don´t drink high ABV beers very often nor consider myself specially tolerant BUT if i feel like drinking that beer and have nobody to share (or many options around), i won´t have any problem about opening 75cl. That said i prefer to drink it all instead of leaving some for the next day. Maybe not the ideal setting but its just twoo of myTulip glasses anyway, whatever the ABV. Just take your time and enjoy the journey.

Last one i remember was a Kaastel Donker, which is not only 11 ABV but quite sweet and heavy. No problem at all in downing the whole bottle if you ask me!

Snowing heavily even here in Spain, but actually got an Affligem Tripel and a Duvel to warm. Not 75 cl. yet but after reading this post i think i will go for it.
