    Hey guys!

    I searched the forum and didn't see a thread like this posted. However, if there is one, please forgive me, but I was wondering what your top five BA Stouts are from Michigan. I would have to say mine are...

    1. KBS
    2. BA Plead the Fifth
    3. Black Note
    4. Hipster Brunch Stout
    5. Morningwood

    Just curious what you guys have to say....

    Yeah, I kinda forgot about CBS, due to the fact that it is so limited. I like BB Mayan as well!

    I just think that Hipster doesn't get the props it deserves. That stuff is fantastic.

    I can't believe I would put Black Note fourth and KBS fifth on any list but that's how I see them. And I'm sure anything barrel aged by Short's belongs in the discussion but I haven't had anything barrel aged by them yet.

    Insufficient data:
    - CBS (only got to try it once on tap, and that was like 5 ounces at Ashley's a few weeks ago. Can a brother get some more A2-area CBS tappings?)
    - Never had Hipster Brunch, it was a ghost around here. I'm ISO if anyone has extra (unlikely, I know.)
    - Greenbush does some really good BB Stouts that I've only had at MBG Fests, but they all sorts blend together. Seem to remember a good blueberry one though.

    This exercise also made me realize that a lot of Michigan's best BA beers aren't stouts. Until I looked at the prompt again, I'd written down BB4D, BBBW, Livery BA Triple Weizenbock, and Sweet Repute, and was considering a bunch of oak- and wine-aged sours from JP, Livery, etc.
