I also ponied up $25.99 for the last bottle at FF-SLP because I'd never had it before. Hope it's worth it.

 

Barrel Aged Ruffian & Barrel Aged Yeti were both excellent, otherwise I wouldn't have plunked down. But yeah, I'm hoping so too!

 

Any of the Bells Hopslam stuff laying around town yet?

 

War and Peace tap release is this Friday at Lake and Irving restaurant and Saturday at the taproom so I assume bottles next week.

Blog post said the week of Feb. 2nd. I know that squares has a tapping next week. I'm not going be very happy if when I first see hop slam on the shelves its a month old.... not saying that it will be a month old because I know that they bottle it on multiple days but the stuff that was at the Nova was dated 1/9

my dad was drinking hopslam in puerto rico last night. just saying.

 

Got some Hopslam dated 1/9. It's fine. I'll probably always get a sixer of it when it comes out, but there are so many cheaper options nowadays, I'm never going to be blown away by it again.
And that's okay.

 

cheaper DIPA options? like what? they're all basically $15-16/sixer.

 

I thought I paid $17 and change for the Hopslam. Anything under about $12 for a four pack is cheaper. For me, that's almost everything.

 

I know it's not a dipa, but let's not forget about saga. I just bought a 12 pack for $11. If you put two of them in a big glass it's like making your own DOUBLE ipa, right?
