Great seeing old and new faces. To be honest, bit disappointed in the event. Lack of info, ok tap list, and generally absent owners just fell short of expectations.

Great day today, awesome seeing some of the familiar faces and some new faces also! 1st anniversary was very good, a bit sweet, but solid. Smokescreen and Oilslicks was awesome ! Thanks to the generous BAs who shared some awesome bottles and great cookies.

Sam and Mike showed up, Anthony was awesome as usual and the Brooklyn Burro was awesome, loved the beef quesadilla I had.

Awesome first year for Other Half! Thankful for the new friends I have made from here and OH!

    Onward and upward!

Yeah I had a good time. It was insanely crowded, so I'm glad I got my drink on kind of early. Though I do wish I could have stayed a bit longer.

Thanks to everyone who brought bottles. Good stuff!

My first time having Other Half stuff, I guess I am in the minority but nothing blew me away at all except for the growler prices.

I think every regular can agree that the line-up they had was not their best offerings. Hopefully they will get back to the hoppy stuff that made theme popular.

    What did you have?

Yeah like @Msudukie said, the anniversary line up didn't have some of their better offerings. I brought my growler, but didn't see anything I even wanted.

Granted I think they were just trying to showcase a wide range of styles since a lot new comers were there that day.

Hop ded'ed, wanted a growler but was no way I was paying $26 for a mediocre beer. Also tried 1st anniversary, and the wild love. Wild love was probably the best of the 3, but still nothing I would even go back to get again. I guess I was too spoiled with Treehouse, nebco and and Trillium before.

Was a wide variety of beers at OH for sure. I didn't get to try all of them, but loved Smokescreens + Oilslicks. For true hop heads, there has definitely been better line-ups over the year at OH. All Green Everything and Green Diamonds are superb and at the top of my list. Many other IPA along the way too that have been really good.

The diversity of beer that day could have just been the day, a winter line-up of beer or just a natural evolution of them brewing more styles of beer. As a hophead, I do long for the days when they first opened and there were 5 or 6 IPAs/DIPAs on tap.

Give it time , as spring and summer come back, I am sure we will see more of the old standbys and some of the awesome session beers they made last summer.

the rum-barrel Kerstperiode dangerously underrated at the event.

Also, apologies to those who were disappointed by the lack of 1st Anni growlers-- seems I was misinformed (or a last minute change occured) :[

Excellent article. Happy the guys are growing, but will be sad if current tap room shuts down.
