Incorrect. I got there at 11:45, and got some. Just got shutout of variants...

 

Thats what I meant by shut out, the variants and you were limited to 4 bottles, where as I still could have bought 1 case of regular and 1/2 case of coffee and cocoa .

No worries. At least I had my mule, so I got 8 bottles.

 

I had my anti beer hoarder friend with me, who thought that 4 regular and 3 of each variant was excessive.

 

After just now winning my first LIF, it seems like an appropriate time to announce my Cutest Pet LIF winner!

Let me just start by saying, this quickly turned from a great, fun contest, to an all-out sob fest with the female judges literally moaning, "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww," after each pic. By the end of it, the girls HATED the competition because they thought all the dogs were cute and you would have thought they were sending the losing dogs to the pound or something. At least 2 of the judges tried to quit mid-competition because the judging became too hard lol. Also, I think I made all of them cry when I told them the back story of Ralph. (@LehighAce06)

BUT, I pushed them to continue, and in a head-to-head tournament style competition, we ended up with a winner...

Treznor and I have been Beer Messaging since Monday regarding this. Funny thing is, we were in the midst of a trade and are shipping trade boxes on Friday. I did note that for this LIF I would not be shipping the box until early March because I'm waiting on a handful of Georgia beers to be bottled/canned for the first time. With that in mind, I have ensured treznor that his second box will be completely unique from the first!

Anyways, thanks again to everyone who submitted their pet's pictures. It was a really fun event to do during the day while in a cabin in the north GA mountains. Here is a shot of the judges holding the Sofie's winning picture:









(Unrelated to this, as mentioned above, I did just win my first ever LIF courtesy of @jawas. As I told him in a BM, he just crushed 2 of my major wants in a freaking LIF! That is so great... I also have to give a HUGE thank you to @UcDru for basically passing his winnings on to me. I continually see people do amazing things on this website and the generosity of everyone, particularly in these BIF groups is just outstanding. Looking forward to sending and receiving more boxes with more of the members of this group.)

You would not believe how often my wife was asking for updates on this, asking whether or not Sofie had won yet... She couldn't conceive of anyone being cuter than our little furbaby! Thanks for running this @UTvols05! Sorry that the girls cried, but the idea and execution for the LIF was awesome!

BTW, my wife wanted to make certain that everyone in the group knew that she's responsible for Sofie being so cute and getting her to wear costumes

I think you just broke the Clarkson Rule. Punishment is thread humiliation as deemed by @NJB145 (the rule book writer).

 

I'll add you if you promise not to be one of THOSE GUYS (or gals) who completely blows up my untappd. I am mikexw if anyone wants to add me, and I am usually only checking in one or two beers a day with occasionally amusing, but more often idiotic, comments.

 

OK -- so you absolutely HAVE to wait a day or day, and then tell the five of them that we did a LIF and voted on them; you decide who to say won. And then, assuming you are still alive, tell the winner that she won by one vote and that the tiebreaker was @Littlelotte88.
