Here is the label for a new Smokestack Release from Boulevard that will start hitting the KC market on February 10th (other markets after). This is their Imperial Stout with Coffee added and here is more information:

"As a special treat for lovers of big, complex stouts, Boulevard Brewing Company offers the 2015 Imperial Stout “X” Series. The “X” factor stands for a key ingredient brewed into each of several limited releases plan throughout the year. This edition was infused with Ethiopian Sidamo Coffee from our Kansas City neighbor, The Roasterie, lending this robust Stout at subtle wine–like smoothness."

This will clock in at 11%abv and will come packaged in 750ml bottles. Likely limited quantities on draft as well. Stoked!

IIRC, I believe @TheJermis said there wouldn't be any kegs of this one. Bottles only.

    But I've been wrong before.

Also, it's already in a couple markets in Kansas (see: @HeliosWP), for anyone who is looking in Lawrence and/or Topeka. Hits KCK and Missouri next Tuesday.

Yeah should've been more specific. Wichita saw quite a bit as well as Chocolate ale.

Really excited for this one. Boulevard does some great stuff, and they almost always have some presence in my fridge.

Hopefully we see this in Northeast Iowa. Usually a month or so behind releases, but I think we've seen every Smokestack release going back almost 2 years.

@BottleCaps80 Thanks for all the new brew stuff. I appreciate the extra work you do to post stuff to the forums.

@TheJermis I apologize in advance if this is already posted somewhere, but will the new stout releases see the standard Smokestack footprint, or will they be a little smaller?

If you're asking if they'll go to all markets, the answer is yes. If you're asking if we're brewing the same amount as we do other Smokestack Series beers, I would say the amount brewed compares to other Smokestack Series Limited Release beers like Saison-Brett, Rye-on-Rye and Bourbon Barrel Quad.

Thanks! Appreciate both answers(since my question was worded poorly).

Saw a bunch of their beer at Wegmans Sunday. Did not see this but did not look close. They did have quad.

    Enjoy

Since their Imperial Stout is a whiskey-barrel blend, does that mean this is too? Or is this a straight imperial stout with coffee?
