Resin is the standby; I have Global Warmer and Sweet Action in the beer fridge as well, and just picked up a couple of four-ers of Hi-Res yesterday. Outstanding all. I salute the greatest brewery in the borough of me sainted mither's birth.

Going to stop at my favorite store after work today and will pick up some Hi-Res (as well as hopefully pick up the Grapefruit Sculpin and Permanent Funeral he was going to order in for me!).

Look forward to trying it out.

See I tasted it for the first time this year and clearly thought it was a hoppy red, way more resiny and spicy.

I'm still looking for Beast Mode, have not seen it yet. However, I did pick up a 4 pack of Hi-Res and already have had 3 of them. Freaking fantastic this year. I have a keg of Hi-Res sitting at the beer store just waiting for me to pick up, but I need to finish off my Celebration keg first.....I can't seem to drink it fast enough.

    Roadtrip down from Brooklyn

Someday I'm going to get up and see you at the brewery...some day.

PS: I just ordered some "merch" to go with the keg. 1 Hi-Res highball glass, one tap handle and one Resin goblet. Can't wait.....love the highball glass.

Sixpoint, like I posted on Untappd, I definitely liked Beast Mode! It's a lighter mouthfeel porter with a different type of porter taste, but in a good way! Those aspects make it unique. My only complaint...it didn't help Marshawn Beast Mode Lynch and the Seahawks to a 2nd ring lol.

Maybe because Pete Carroll is not a craft beer fan!?!:grimacing:

Let's wait until we can properly host you.

I'm sure the entire team will be motivated to win next year. I equate their loss with the Spurs loss to the Miami Heat - they had that game won, but lost it because they did not execute at the end. But look at what it did to their motivation the following year - they played with an intensity and sense of urgency not seen since their early years together.

There is only one way to find out. Send him some beer!

I recently found out Gregg Popovich is a huge wine fan. Interesting...

Just curious how much was it for a keg of Hi-Res? I know prices will differ by state but depending on price might be something I'm interested in considering how amazingly drinkable this years is.

Sweet Action was good, as was Hi-Res. My extremely hophead wife prefers Resin, says it is less sweet. Awesome beers though.

@Sixpoint Whoever hired you deserves a raise as well as yourself. You single-handedly turned me back onto Sixpoint after having bad experience with old beer and customer service. Now bring back Diesel to further win back my love.

The Crisp is great. And, I miss the pint size.

After having two Hi Res in the past couple of days I will say that The Crisp is still my favorite. I think Hi Res is an amazing brew. I just like how drinkable The Crisp is. I think living across the pond for three years influences my vote for a good pils. Being able to buy Crisp sixer and being able to drink multiple of them is a plus without getting hammered. High Res is a fantastic beer, but everyday drinking situations is important.

I will say also I wasn't in the Sixpoint distribution area before last fall so I have never had Three Beans, Automation etc.

    $100 per 1/6 barrel. That's about $2.50 per pint or $1.88 for a 12oz serving and $7.52 for a 4pack.

that's a very, very rare beer of ours...

did your wife try the Bengali?

thanks man! Did you try the Beast Mode yet? Its sort of the reincarnation of the Diesel, but a different vibe.

    have it on draft! :-)

    where are you located?

wow...never thought of Resin as a summer beer!

Honestly? I didn't pick it up yet, so I can't tell you. I know the prices of their regular beers are in line with other stuff, so I'm sure Hi-Res will be in line with other DIPA kegs.

Love beast mode and hi-res. Have given sweet action a try on multiple occasions and for whatever reason it just doesn't do it for me. Guess it's just not my style
