A little off topic but they are serving Spontaneous Cheer at the Congregation Ale House in Long Beach right now.

Guys, you are screwing this up.

It's at least 4 hours. To park. The traffic backs up on the highway, there's usually an accident or two. Then, we all have to shuffle in and out of a parking lot that fits a dozen cars, tops. There's no one directing traffic.

Inside, there's one guy taking tickets. Tomme's dad. He's senile, mostly deaf and half blind, so he has to read your name off the list in braille. If you speak too loudly, you'll anger him and you have to move to the back of the line. Too softly and he can't hear your name, might misspell it, can't find it on the list, and you have to move to the back of the line.

The bottles aren't filled and capped until you've been confirmed as the rightful owner of the ticket.

Because this is so far out in the desert (people will believe San Marcos is the desert, right?) and water is in short supply because the guy who pumps the well sometimes gets drunk the night before and doesn't show up, people occasionally pass out from heat stroke or expire from thirst.

All-in-all, only the bravest, and hardiest of souls return with bottles of Veritas, and they've put their lives on the line for it.

So just keep that in mind when deciding how to value this beer.

That and Nonna's cost $17 or $18. Would just be as bad as the person that traded their V15 for one Thickett.

I don't think you need to line up this early for V15.

And pretty sure if you did, Lost Abbey employees would laugh and point.

Fortunately since lost abbey started doing online sales a month before the release date no need to line up early. My first Veritas release was 009 and you had to get there early to guarantee bottles.
