The Locals Bottleshare 1.0 (BS 1.0) is looking like (unnoficial) it will take place on May 2nd in Annapolis, MD.

I created a BM thread for those in the generally mid-atlantic region that may be interested in coming, but I admit I may well have missed some, and perhaps some of you may be willing to travel for the sake of the event or by some strange coincidence will be in range anyway.

If anyone who is not already in that BM thread can possibly make it into that neck of the woods on that date, please reply below or BM me, and I will add you to the conversation.


tl;dr if you want to go to BS 1.0 and don't have an invite, speak up.

 

So pretty much what you're saying is you're probably the best distance runner in the group. These times are really damn impressive.

 

Add me in for the hell of it. I'll hold the date on my calendar and see what strings I can pull.

 

Horizontalhood update:

Looks like my target brewery is going to work out. Hopefully going to acquire the bottles today or tomorrow. That means request for volunteers to receive it should be posted by Wednesday at the latest. Shipping should be one week from today (barring blizzards, ice storms, meteorites, zombie apocalypse, etc.).

That's one plus side of running your own businesses. If it was a Friday or Saturday I'd be shit out of luck. I've had to pass on some epic bottle shares because most of them are weekends when I'm the busiest. Grass is always greener yadda yadda yadda.

 

I think the grass is literally greener with regards to breweries. I have Kane and Carton, but they are each 40 minutes or so away from me. The closest brewery to me is 3 minutes away, but it's Climax Brewing. That's all I'll say about them.

 

Any locals live in NYC? I'll be in midtown from tomorrow night to Thursday afternoon. I don't know that I have time to meet up for long but can potentially make a quick IP trade...
