I will be in Syracuse and Rochester later this week. What are the chances this is still available in stores.

The brewery has a lot. I was there today. Picked up a 4 pack.

They also have an ESB, pale lager, and amber ale on tap as part of the Scratch series. The amber was particularly good. I was told the pale lager is something they are potentially working on as a new regular release.

It didn't even smell good. If you can get Six Point Global Warmer instead, get that.

Nugget Nectar is not an IPA. It's an amber ale that is more hoppy than most.

I like some malt backbone in a hoppy beer, I'd drink Nugget Nectar over Heady Topper any day.

For the people that prefer Nugget Nectar cans, are you drinking right from the can, or pouring it?

This drinks really well straight from the can. Tempted to go back for more.

Awesome, love seeing this increase in brewers increasing their can output.

I poured it into a glass and was not impressed- a little lacking. Next time I'll drink from the can

I think the smell is the best part, but otherwise agree that Global Warmer is superior.

Straight from the can and it is awesome. Much better than last year's, which was my first time trying it.

I've bought both a 6-pack of bottles and 4-pack of cans over the past couple weeks. Honestly, I didn't notice much difference. But I'm assuming the cans will stay a little fresher a little longer. I drank some straight from the can and it was still awesome, although I definitely prefer to pour it. My favorite feature of the can--with the bright colors it could easily pass for an energy drink...IF someone was inclined to enjoy one in public.

So the problem I have with cans of NN is that now I am a little sad in thinking I'll have to grab bottles now that my cans are finished, as obviously the cans blew out extremely fast. Plenty o' bottles at TW still..... I wonder if they will make a transition to 100% cans next year based on the madness around the cans this year?

Nope. Cans have been a great success, and we will be able to can more next year, but bottles are still the main package.
