Absolutely loved it! I took mildly buzzed notes on my phone for a tick lol, but I gave it 4.5's all across the board except for appearance. I wasn't a fan of zombie dust so this renewed my interest in citra.

Thanks, bro! I generally refuse to call other people "bro" but you're an exception to my rule :-)

But yeah I'll have wifi most of the time I'm down there, three out of four weeks anyway (still not sure where I'll be for that third week, somewhere in the interior probably). I'll be in Rio for the rest of it though, so I'll have access to some new ones, for sure. Looking forward to it!

Our AC unit is in the bedroom so I'll be A-OK soon enough. I have a frige full of cold ones, it's just that these pros are so much better than my homebrews

No worries, gents. Not a lot of tequila, but lots of cachaça there—a pretty interesting form of cane liquor, in case anyone's unfamiliar and interested. Actually thinking about starting a blog specifically to document slowly working my way through a bottle of nice cachaça over the course of July. It'd give me an excuse to write about my travels and research, too. But don't worry, I'll have some beer, too :-)

yeah, that would work too! Looks interesting indeed. Archaeology the reason you're headed to Brazil?

That sounds pretty cool man. My brother introduced me to cachaca, he is kind of to hard liquor what I am to beer, it is pretty good. Again, safe travels and good drinking!

had a beer or two at boston beer works this afternoon, then took a power nap when I got back. Now I am eating hawaiian pizza with bacon on it and drinking my last FBD Citra IPA growler. good times.

Yessir. Just some archival work for this trip, but I might visit the site I'm working with to see if I can't get a better perspective on the historical layout of the site landscape. But it all ties back in—it'll help me write a more detailed survey & sampling strategy. Regardless, can't complain about living in Rio for a month, or about writing reviews for some more Brazilian beers. Think I wrote up about a dozen when I was there last summer, it was fun!
