    My friend's favorite local beer is indeed Nelson. He will be moving to East Lansing (as I hinted Lansing is close enough) for a professor position. The last beer we shared was a Cuvee Des Jacobin at Pizza Port Ocean Beach.

    Thank you Nanobrew for such a great LIF. What a nice way to honor your friend and I look forward to carrying on the LIF tradition in the near future. Coincidentally, my fiancee and I will be celebrating our own New Beginning in two weeks when we move from Chicago to Athens, OH.

    I'm always excited to try new beer from a brewery I'm not familiar with...thanks again for your generosity.

    Congratulations on getting the right combo and big props to nanobrew for a really fun LIF. Gpawn, I believe the requirement is that you do NOT start a new LIF.

    that is correct. Obviously I cannot stop you (nor would I want to) from ever starting a LIF. But I do not want this LIF to be "paid back" as a symbol for how generous Spry is.

    If there are any MSU students, keep an eye open for a new Econ prof who is a fellow BA.

    Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge - The last beer they had before the move
    Alpine Nelson - Spry's favorite
    Short's Anniversary Ale - From Spry's new home
    Pizza Port glass - From where they had that last beer

    This is like Christmas morning! Cheers everyone!
