whether it be in trade-related messaging or trade itself?

Is the new "warning" system tied into this?

Well if someone gets called out they are asked to defend their side and the community determines whether or not the accused is actually a bad trader or not. If he is then sometimes he can be banned from the site or just shunned by the community so that he might as well have been banned. Sometimes when someone unjustly gets called out the table gets flipped on the accuser and they end up on di not trade lists. It all just varies depending on the details of the trade and what all happened.

There is also a 90% chance that the accused had a family emergency once he gets called out though.

The warning system is not tied to bad traders. People who are deemed to be trolling out constantly thread shitting are given warnings and then once you accumulate a certain number of them you can get time outs from ba ranging from one day to being permanently banned. Oh, and all of that is up to the discretion of the mod if you are trolling or deserve a warning. Whereas bad traders are up to the community to decide.

Boy. There sure are some strict measures inplace. They run a tight ship. I guess i see where theyre coming from. I often post on a certain drug band message board and its prettymuch the swampy wastelands of internet forums.

My only fear is accidentally slipping up and being punished for it. Its kinda like a serf living in fear under an unknown daeus ex machinus beliefe system.

You're fine for the most part. Only if you're a repeat offender will you really get in trouble out you're being blatantly abrasive.

But I have seen people suspended based on disagreeing with a mod (granted the way they stated their disagreement was in a mocking way). But mocking another ba wouldn't be grounds for a suspension. So yea it can feel like we're being watched by overlords at times.

Just don't troll or be a dick and you're fine.
