Surly Abrasive in Chicago

    How do you know? I don't mean that in a snarky way, just curious. If thats true, that really sucks, its in my top 5 favorite beers!

    Talked to a Windy City Rep (they carry Surly) at my local Binny's a month ago. They said it was unlikely we would see Abrasive in Chicago.

    I talked to the windy city rep at my local binnys last week and he said they were "probably" going to send it this year but couldn't be sure, and that they get very little notice from surly before their shipments. IIRC we didn't get abrasive until the end of February last year.

    I had asked them if they were getting through Twitter last Thursday.

    Response was "Sort of...making it's way around. Call your local store"

    I couldn't find it, but was calling the northern burbs.

    Abrasive is already at the Windy City Warehouse, They are just waiting for the ok from the Brewery to release it.

    Nothing yet, but the Binny's near me usually get a bunch of stuff on Tuesdays so I'm really hoping today is the day!

    I was there at THG on Sunday before the tapping of CBS at Durty Nellie's. They assuredly did not have Abrasive.
