Thanks guys, I don't want to derail this thread, so I'll let y'all 4 speak for the rest of the group.

Let's continue on with the beer pr0n, LIF guessing, and making fun of @LehighAce06

 

@Syracuse12 - I will go with Milwaukee's Best and model cars.

 

So I won @jawas LIF but deferred to @UTvols05 since he answered 1 minutes (or less) after me and had only guessed once where as I used two guesses. Rob reached out to me saying he had two more regular coffee he could send my way. When I said he didn't need to do that I elected to defer the LIF we settled on a small trade. He would send me the two regular coffee, a GBOT growler and a can of 07XX from Carton. I would send him a small box from my Jackie O's trip to cover that. Well... @jawas is a liar. I sent a very modest 4 beer box and he drops this bomb on me...

As promised sipping on this delight...Pretty sweet up front with coffee notes and a little boozy heat on the finish. Wife called it an iced coffee. #vbs

 

The day after I finished my Super Bowl growler of this, I was telling a coworker about it and described it as tasting like melted coffee ice cream with Bailey's on top. Only more delicious.

Amazing how this group seems to know when someone needs a pick me up.

 

I wonder what a year or two in the cellar would do for this beer?

 

I can tell you for a fact I am not going to find out.

 

I don't think it would work, the coffee flavor would fade

 

VBS. as much as I like this beer, I think the barrel aging makes it so much better.

@Tee2Grn and I set up a semi-blind trade a couple weeks ago for each others locals and one agreed upon bottle. His box landed today and it is epic. Haven't had most of the beers, love Hopslam, and can't wait to do a side by side with the Plead the 5ths. Every Oddside I've had I have loved, so I'm stoked to try more of their stuff. And the grand reserve La Roja was a huge surprise.
