It's been a long week for me and I'm really looking forward to having Saturday off. I'll be brewing an RIS. I'll pitch on top of an Irish yeast cake and will probably go heavy-handed on the base malt. I'll expect to add some nibs and some oak cubes at the end for good measure. Who's with me?

I am taking the weekend off for family in town and Zwikelmania!

I did just culture up East Coast Yeast Brett Nanus for primary on 2 Saisons, will get late pitch of Jasper Yeast Chateaux in one and BKYeast Cantillon Iris 3 on the other.

Haven't done anything but bottle in the past few weeks. Probably ought to brew something, I've got empty fermentors, and not much winter left.

No brewing, but ordering two kits from NB as they are having a stout-dubbel special. Fermentors are full, one still going and probably another week away before I can do anything with it, but I should be able to bottle or keg my Irish Red on Sunday. Thinking about bottling this time: haven't done it in quite a while but I don't want to mix any sugars into the beer. I've got plenty of corn sugar left over from other kits; going to see if I can add that straight to the bottles.

I'll be stovetop brewing for the foreseeable future(smaller batches). Trying to do a tripel that I didn't get around to last week and something else, probably a brown or Amber ale

Bottled a tropical style Foreign Extra Stout. Tasted the hydrometer sample and it was giving off lots of licorice from the molasses added at flame out. Have a good feeling about this one.

I am going to brew 10 gallons of IPA. I will dry hop 5 gallons with Citra and 5 with Simcoe. Planning to have both on tap for a party next month.

I brewed up a Nuggetzilla single hop IPA with Conan yeast last night and at some point in the weekend I'm brewing up a White Stout that I'm going to add cacao nibs, Mexican vanilla beans, cinnamon and habanero to in the secondary. Dry hopping a Brett DIPA and secondarying a wild yeast Saison onto some peaches as well.

I saw this posted in the events and it looks fabulous. The hosting brewery website didn't list any beers that I could find, do you have an idea what will be there? Not that I'd be able to make it, just sounds awesome.

Here in Oregon you go to all the breweries in the area (there was a bus in years past that shuttled through the region here). Each brewery gives tours every 1/2 hour to hour. On the tour they pull samples off of fermentors or bright tanks using the Zwikel. It is random which beer you get. Some breweries will pull a special release that is getting ready for package, some just pull their flagship beer. Our breweries usually have entertainment as well, and will have a couple other things on tap to sample. If you get lucky, sometimes a very gracious brewer will take you to the cellar and pull the nail on a barrel or two with you... depending on crowds and how well you know them. Not sure how they roll over there in NH.

I've got a stockpile of home brews that need consuming – 4 cases of Dunkelweizens and coffee stouts, but I need to keep the pipeline going because these will be gone before I know it! This weekend would be a good time to start my sour mash for a Berliner, but I may wait til Monday or Tuesday night so I can do the boil the weekend after. Cincy Winter Beer Fest is this Saturday night so I'll probably be hitting that up. If I'm not too hung over on Sunday I may start something then.

Gonna brew a SMASH Pale Ale tomorrow. 2-row and Simcoe. A Valentine's day "KISS" brew.

Might do another if I have time; I've got lots of random hops and grains I might have to just throw them all together and see what happens.

Doing my first over-the-shoulder homebrew with a friend on Sunday, and just ordered the essentials kit from NB to do my own probably next week. Now I just need to drink heavily between now and then to build up a stash of bottles

Kegging and bottling my Vanilla Oatmeal Stout, and may transfer the Irish Rye Ale to the secondary. If I do that I will try washing/harvesting the yeast for the first time, if the batch comes out good I will re-brew the same one.

Brewed 10 gals of an IPA yesterday...5 gals with US-05 and 5 gals with M-07. Used up the last of 2 sacks of Castle Light Munich and Pilsner. Forgot 2 oz of Amarillo for the hop stand until it hit 130*F...we'll see how that affects it.

I can't brew or bottle for about 3 or more weeks as I dislocated and fractured my shoulder on Jan 17. :slight_frown: Luckily still have home brew to drink on hand.

Have 2 batches awaiting patiently in secondary's to bottle.
