    12 oz because:
-I dont feel like being forced to have the equivalent of nearly 4 drinks at once (since usually bombers are beers that are in the 9% abv and up range)
-If I wanted multiple drinks I would like some variety
-If I wanted to share, giving a friend his/her own 12 oz bottle suffices
    - Even the cheapest bombers are priced per unit around the same as a $15 sixer.

12oz, solely for the fact that I can crack one open and drink it by myself.

12 oz. bottles are best for me, bombers are great for sharing, but when you know next to nobody that likes your beers, sharing becomes a lot less common.

I don't really follow your point regarding what I said? Nearly everyone is aware that ounce per ounce bombers are more expensive, but if a brewery is going to stop bottling bombers, lower the size to 12oz, and NOT put them in four packs then I vote for bomber every time. Otherwise I am all for it, but the 12 oz bottles had better be less expensive per.

There is the fact that a lot of the more expensive 6/4 packs are more expensive bottom line than a bomber.

yes, there are 22 ounce bombers that are cheaper than 4 packs (48 ounces)...that's not the point

12oz and it's not close. A perfect exame is Ballast point's victory at sea. The price is $8 for a bomber and I bought it twice. Now that's it's in the12oz format I have drank @10 - 12. Bought a 6et the first time and now I just pickup a single for $2.60 every now and then. Much easier to pull the trigger at $2.60 than $8. Allows more money for other beers. Plus, I don't have to commit to a full bomber when I want drink my dessert.

ok so a bomber vs. a 12 oz bottle. Id rather take the bomber. if it was a bomber vs a 4/6 pack then the 4/6 pack

Because I like to try lots of different beers, I prefer buying one or two of each. With 12 oz bottles, I am usually stuck with 4 or six. If single 12's were proliferative, I'd have chosen them.

Well obviously, if the 12 ounce bottle costs exactly the same as its bomber equivalent then you take the bomber. How is this even a question?

12 oz especially anything north of 10%. Gives me options, and better portion control.

The bomber is OK to try something you've never had, or if you only want a little bit of any particular beer. Or, if it is only released that way. But, the pricing is insane.

    Check this out: http://www.its-pub-night.com/2009/06/six-pack-equivalent-calculator.html

So, your bomber is costing you the equivalent of $25.00 a six pack, as a reasonable average.

If brewers shift to 12oz single releases, they will like retain the pricing structure, meaning each bottle would be around $4-$5?

maybe that's the problem with this thread. People actually think we're in favor of paying the same price for a 12 ouncer as we would a bomber. Most breweries would shut down if they did that

Depends on the style for me I guess. I prefer sours and BA stouts to be larger format as I like to share those. IPAs and easier drinking styles I prefer small format to drink myself.

Certainly, however with bottles that sell with limits it's hard to get more than a bottle sometimes regardless of size.
