The Bretta Rosé was tasting amazing. It seems to have lost some of the sweetness and is now at a perfect balance between sour and sweet from the raspberries.

I'm really surprised you guys liked it so much. They were kinda hard and heavy. I have to say that I had way better bacon donuts before. Check out your nearest bakery! Don't get me wrong, they were tasty, but nothing spectacular. Although the escargots...man, I have had at least 10 of them
As far as beer goes my personal top3: Foeder #2, Bretta Rose (that still tastes amazing) & Feral One.
What did you guys think about SLOambic? I haven't had it on draft last time, just bottles and I loved the bottles, but this time, on tap, I picked up some buttery off flavor and not that many fruitiness as I remember.

The donut really paired really well with the too thin hydra cuvee and Maltose Falcon. Perfect pairing station.

I was loving that Bretta Rose raspberry reduction that was with the foie Gras. I must have eaten 4 ducks worth of fattened livers as I was making those plastic cups stack high.

That Bravo aged in heaven hill barrels and double cream nitro merlin was off the fucking chain.

One of my favorite events and I really liked how they used the space this time in the tap room and in the barrel area.

Just think, one day that kid will be born, be slightly dumb in the head and yet own a large business and you will be forced to call him sir.

I really like Zinskin, and I hope it makes it into bottles at some point. Bretta Rose, DDBA #60, Double Cream Merlin and Bravo were other highlights. Speaking of Bravo, was the barrel definitely Heaven Hill? I forgot to ask, and I see that over on Untappd people were checking in calling it Heaven Hill or Evan Williams, and others checking in Bravo #217. Anyone know if that's the official name?

That Bravo reminded me of a whiskey and coke, oddly

The Bretta Rose was my favorite. As mentioned above the raspberries balance the sour out perfectly now. I still have a couple bottles and curious to open one soon.

It is my understanding that Bravo is always aged in Heaven Hills barrels. The comment that David Walker made to me when he served me the beer, after I asked for Saucerful of Secrets, was that this was a single barrel beer (unblended).

Ya know I have to agree. Like others said, the sweetness has mellowed and has blended so well. Bretta Rosè was the only beer I had multiple pours of cause I liked it so much.
