Weyerbacher Heresy is pretty damned solid.

Yeah, I just looked and there's a $10 difference now. I was recalling my days in Sacramento when regular used to be $6.99 at BevMo and BA $1 more. Those days appear to be gone.

Definitely. BA version is no less than $16 anywhere I see it (which is all over because $16 for a 375ml is madness)

That is a steal! I've loved just about every CW barrel reserve beer I've tried; I wish they distributed to CO :slight_frown:

You will enjoy it! A damn good beer and ages well too. Their barleywine is the best barrel aged barleywine for the money and ages extremely well, too.

I've been buying bombers for $6.49. Very very hard to beat for the price.

Ill go out on a limb and say I actually enjoy their Barleyiwine more than BCBBW... granted i havent had this years, but in general its an amazing barleywine. Anything brewers reserve of theirs is top notch

New Holland Brewing Dragon's Milk Oak Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is $15 for a 4-pack in PA.

Haven't seen it recently, but Weyerbacher Blasphemy (QUAD aged in Oak Barrels) was $8.99 for a big bottle when it first came out.

Uinta Sea Legs Baltic Porter - Found it at Trader Joe's in San Gabriel, CA for $9.99. Tough to beat @ that price.

Dragon's Milk for the year round love. "Cheaper" others would be...

    Abita's Bourbon Street
    Breckenridge 72 Imperial
Bourbon Barrel Aged Holy Moly(St. Louis love)
Oak Aged Yeti(Not technically barrel aged-but hey)
    Central Waters Barrel aged stout(BCBS-lite)
Barrel Aged Wake Up Dead(never had, but the regular is really cheap for a bomber, so I am going to assume this one is cheap as well)
    Bourbon Barrel Aged Drago

I echo the Siren Noire posts. Great price, I was kinda floored by it because I wasn't expecting much. The Abita BA Imperial Stout was only $10 a bomber and was a nice surprise too.

I don't know about the rest of you but Central Waters BA stout is in the $18 a four-pack neighborhood around my parts. I'd go batshit crazy if I saw it at the prices some of you have listed. $10.99/4-pack? Wow.

I'm going to vote for Weyerbacher Insanity. Honorable mention to Clown Shoes Pecan Pie Porter (partially BBA) and Palo Santo (not BBA but similar and amazing)
