    Yes it was. First time visiting that shop and not the last. If it wasn't for the tolls and paying sales tax I would go there more often.

    You can avoid the 95 toll as well if you go thru Newark the back way. Look at a map it is quite easy. Better than arguing with your GPS...and hit Durhams BBQ down the road too....

    So I just checked Sierra Nevadas beer finder for Hop Hunter and as usual it is everywhere but DE. I am hoping that means we will see it this week or next then. This is another one from them I'm looking forward to.

    Paying for Rt 1 tolls is fine. I don't mind that as it is better than driving slower on 13. Just the tolls on 95 were excessive..

    Oh well in that case, take Rt 1 pass the 95 exits til you get to Rt 4 which will be a left hand turn, make a left there, ride it all the way down til you get to the end and you'll see home depot and a decent size shopping center in front of you then make a left at that light, then go straight, there will be a liquor store on your right called caps n corks and a wawa, state line will be on your left hand side. Then tah dah, you're there avoiding the crazy 95 tolls.

    I get facebook updates from Delaware Hop Scene. Ocean City Brewing is coming to DE. How is it? Anything stand out? Is anything canned/bottled or just kegs? TIA

    Haven't been yet, but people say the service is bad and beers are mediocre at best. I am hoping to give them a shot myself when we get there next, but I don't have high expectations

    Just went to the depot on 8 they had stone delicious IPA, Allagash midnight Brett, troegs cultivator and flying dog Mexican hot chocolate stout.

    This Sunday DFH brewpub in Rehoboth is releasing 75 signed/numbered 32oz growlers of Choc Lobster at noon. limit 1pp @ $20ea. It will also be on tap in the pub.

    It's a beer they brew and they did the same thing with beer breakfast so I assume it is. I'd have rather had the beer breakfast growler though.

    Beer Distribution is so weird. You guys get Nugget Nectar later than everyone but Cultivator before us :rolling_eyes:

    I guess our higher ups are trying to unload all the Nectar before dropping the cultivator but shiiit.

    agreed, but I haven't tried this one yet. I had beer for breakfast at Restaurant 55, and I thought it was good.
